My guess would be that WCW didn’t draw that demographic until Hall and Nash came over. Up until that point WCW was an even more cartoonish version of 80s WWF

      That battle rap was good.

Sure, Acclaimed rapping will remind people of a certain doctor (no, not DOCTOR BRITT BAKER DMD), but it's still good. It was entertaining 15+ years ago and still is.

The Wrestling Baby Boom Period is here! Cody & Brandi announced on AEW Dynamite they are expecting their first child in 2021.

Another thing I like about AEW is they actually come back to complete stories or feuds and not ignore them like WWE does. Rey Fenix was supposed to face Kenny in the second round of the # 1 Contender's Tournament until a neck injury sidelined him.

PAC said Rey never lost and should face Omega for the title, Don said no but good guy Tony Khan already approved the match. So the final episode of AEW Dynamite will see the match we never got in October, Kenny Omega vs Rey Fenix but this time for the AEW World Championship.

AEW this week was kinda boring to me. Not much big stuff happened. A lot of lower tier wrestlers got their chance to shine. I already forgot that Darby Allen is the TNT Champion. Thats bad. Lot of tag team matches which would make Teddy long proud. But a 14 man tag team match? That's overkill.

            Re: AEW Dynamite Thread

As expected, AEW pushed everything back a week. Their 2 week New Years specials will air next year.

The show this week will be exclusively a tribute for Brodie.

For those who dont know, -1 is his son (Brodie) who under the Dark Order number system got his number for being part of Brodies family before Dark Order.

We haven't had a full tribute show like this I believe since Eddie died? The Benoit show was just a clip show, and obviously once the news got out about him, WWE rightfully ditched all other plans for tributes.

Not the type of show you ever want to see in wrestling, but you know it'll be special.

Very nice of AEW to do this. It'll be emotional watching, but definitely tuning in to pay my respects.

With NXT having their award show this week too, I could see many tuning into AEW for the tribute show, even if they're not AEW fans.

It has been hilarious how much Jericho has been referencing WWE throughout the night. Calling John "Luke Harper," calling Big Red "Eric Rowan" and mentioning one of the Saudi "Blood Money" shows.

AEW is gonna receive a cease and desist because of Jericho.

I know people didn't think much of him, Lee wanted to get away from anything "WWE related," but they really should have brought in Rowan/Big Red sooner.

The guy is solid in the ring and has a presence because of his size. He also could have been the goon/muscle under Lee helping get the Dark Order wins.

I'm sorry, but this booking of Sting is dumb.

The heels get the upper hand and are beating the **** out of the faces, but stop cause the lights go out (which I thought was an overused trope) and Sting & Darby show up. Sting has yet to get physical with anyone and literally can't take a bump.

I'm sorry, but this is just illogical booking the "other company" gets crapped on all the time about.

Great closing promo by Cody Rhodes and awesome of AEW making the closing segment about Lee.

The 10 bell salute with Brodies wife and little kids front and center

Yes, the wrestling world lost one of the good guys, but saddest part when thinking of deaths like a Brodie Lee or Kobe Bryant or anyone else is always the wife and especially little kids who won't grow up with their dad.

We don't get to see a guy we've seen on a weekly basis anymore, but they won't ever get to see their dad who especially once joining AEW will have been able to be there for them most if not every day of their life

Surprised at how much WWE content was included in that final package.

Not that i have an issue with that. I just hope Vince isn’t too petty.

Photos could have been sourced from independent photographers or wrestlers' social media pages.

I'd think they would have either needed to blur out faces or gotten permission to show all those WWE talents.

Which again is stupid cause they are all "independent contractors" on both show should be allowed to "appear" on either show.
