Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
Anna Jay suffered an injury and will be out 6-12 months!
Sucks to hear since she's been getting better all the time, and the match vs Britt (which I still hate how they simply scheduled it for some Monday youtube show) was likely going to be her best one yet.
AEW has typically done a good job keeping injured people around, so hopefully they still keep her as an on screen Dark Order character.Comment

He's not for me either, but I get the same Jeff Hardy as a singles competitor vibes from him. People like him cause he does some crazy(if not ill-advised) moves and has a unique look.Support Local Sports

I dont think he's a huge star or anything, but he at least stands out compared to others.Comment

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
As others have said, I get an early-2000s Jeff Hardy vibe from him with the "what crazy stunt is he going to pull next" attitude. I imagine if they were on the road with unique sets for PPVs you'd see some nutso stuff.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
I've been bitching and moaning about AEW bringing in Sting (and making him a part - timer), but damn it if that segment with him, Darby & Team Tazz wasn't cool. One of the best recent moments on AEW TV besides the whole "forbidden door" stuff.
If he's had the neck fusion surgery, has been medically cleared and can take a few bumps then there's nothing wrong with giving him a better conclusion, TBH.
My fear was he hadn't had the surgery, only rehabbed/got in shape and was still a serious risk of a catastrophic injury.
Seems like he's done everything in his power to comeback and they want to give him better match to go out on.

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
Damn, how great of pro wrestler could Shaq have been if not for his NBA career? That was limited but very impressive for novice that is almost 50 years old.
That was an insane bump for a guy his age and injury history to take. [emoji54]
The ladies' part of the match was less impressive but they both have ton of potential. Plus, AEW desperately needs to build up some American - born female talent (since they refuse to give Dr. Baker the strap).

Re: AEW Dynamite Thread
I hope Omos could be like that. I'm not sure how big that guy is, but he looks like he's legitimately bigger than Shaq. Too bad WWE didnt at least have a stare down between Omos and Big Show during that "legends night" before Show left. That table spot is definitely the one spot of this match they'll air on SC and Inside the NBA.
The intergender tag team match should've closed the show.
Off - topic: And I doubt Osmos will be as impressive as Shaq. Shaq was one the most physically gifted players in the NBA ever, so no point in thinking that kid will be as impressive.
I really don't think AEW wants fans to take their women's division seriously.
Hopefully, the (overpriced) PPV will be worth the watch on Sunday. [emoji1692]
