Those 10 lashes were brutal.

MJF is either a great heel or actually a jerk. Helps that he has a punchable face.

Honestly I hated the 10 lashes segment. Happened at the complete wrong time and completely wrong place. Felt uneasy and queasy watching it. Shouldn't happened during Black History Month in Alabama of all places. Should've done it a week earlier when they were in Cleveland and it would've been better.

And MJF as a whole, fe's good but nowhere near where everyone rates him (best heel in the biz). He goes for cheap pops everywhere he goes (IE when he was either in Mexico or near the Mexican border he said something about building a wall) and twitter schtick is horrible. But at 23/24, I can see the potential in him. Get some better content and he'd be fine.

Unless I'm missing something, Britt Baker's heel turn is working great yet she wasn't the one who defeated Riho for the Women's Championship? Nyla is good but it feels random she got a title match and just won while they have been building Britt up perfectly the last few weeks.

AEW is returning to Philly and Boston in April. Is that a bad sign they are returning to a city so close together?

They sold out both those shows first time out. I do they think they should expand the cities, but it's still early. They did well in Austin though. And I've no doubt they would sell well on the west coast.

Months into AEW, I'm still not invested in most of it.

Just feels like a wrestling show and that's it. I was hoping for more storylines and gimmicks and all that.

And doesn't help when they try hyping up guys and I have no idea who they are.

I'm still hoping Hangman is leading Dark Order. That, the Jericho-Mox feud and the MJF-Cody feuds are the main things I like.

If Matt was leaving, and to do that, no way WWE gives him any sendoff or anything like what they're doing.


As for the main event, that was a nice match. That cage looks way better than wwes. I like no escape the cage.

AEW needs more gimmick matches. You can only watch "great athletic competition" in every match with little stories for so long. That's basically the trap WWE has fallen in.

I’ve always hated the escape rule, it makes these world class athletes look helpless when they struggle to climb a cage.

Takes them 20 seconds to climb a cage or ladder, but if someone else is already at the top, they can do so in 3 seconds.

Orange Cassidy vs Pac. I'm more excited for that match than most others.

PPV should be fun. Looking forward to Mox vs Jericho, Cody vs MJF, Cassidy vs Pac and the ending/aftermath of the tag title match.

After that sitdown interview with JR that Hangman/Kenny and The Bucks did, I'm thinking Hangman Page turns on the Elite and joins the Dark Order at some point. Maybe this weekend?
