WWE only has better creative if you ignore 95% of their weekly shows. Which, feel free. Just watch the Rock segments and it's great.

You don't watch it so how would you know?

Anyone with even a glancing knowledge of WWE programming would agree that it has better creative.

Not all of it lands or is great, but they at least attempt to give people a storyline.

Can't say the same for the other promotion having a guy beat everyone else in his faction for no reason.

Man, you could probably throw Kairi and even Iyo in there as characters who have no traits other than "generic member of a faction", but they're on TV so it's a step above the others.

Mariah May's fine for now. Basic wrestling storytelling tells us the protege defeats the mentor in the end, so as long as they don't **** that up she'll be alright.

      This sentiment I agree with.

You can be the supposed 10 time 'Booker of The Year' and still miss out on utilizing everyone. The rosters are too big and there is a lot of solid, underutilized talent throughout pro wrestling.

Lol this is a ridiculous statement. Four years ago any and all shots at WWE creative were warranted. But now??

But I do have a glancing knowledge tho lol. The good and bad of WWE is always out there. And my point is if you take out the top main event booking, WWE isn't really much better. Raw is still 3 hours last time I checked, declining viewership hour over hour and all.

Is it a shot? Their top of the card stuff is very over. Everything else is OK to less than.

The top of the card stuff was always what drives viewership, LOL.

Declining viewership hour-to-hour is an issue with all wrestling shows. And RAW is too damn long even the talent says that.

Not sure either point is helping win an argument that AEW's nearly non-existent creative is 'better.'

The undercard stuff isn't always great (the Final Testament vs. Lashley/Street Profits), but they still give plenty of people interesting stuff (LDF vs. LWO, Gable + Zayn + Gunther for the IC belt, Logan Paul + KO + Orton for the US strap, etc).

Not going to argue that it's better at this point, but below main event it's no worse.

No argument is necessary since you are entitled to your own opinion, but most people are going to disagree.

And you can't 'dismiss' the top of the card when evaluating an entire promotion.

One can easily say that AEW's mid and lower card is **** and the only thing interesting is Joe/Swerve.

Either way... this is still petty of AEW and fully expect it to backfire.

                            He's turning into a full-on Herb Abrams/Jacksonville Dixie with this stupid ****.

And the saddest part is the industry needs someone to emerge as a viable alternative/competitor to WWE, yet he's pissing it away trying to maintain his 'friendship'/relationship with the Elite.

Of course he's also catering to the niche, terminally online members of the IWC with these antics.

I'll just assume it's some kind of swerve, because at least you can use that to build something, as dumb as it is. If it's not...what's even the point in doing this now? To give Punk the drama and attention he desperately craves? What does AEW get out of that?

I'll leave it to the regular viewers to let me know if this is something that interests them. I'm a very occasional viewer and I don't give a ****.

I think Tony and the Jackson brothers need to see a therapist and get on some meds real quick before they lose out on the chance to enjoy the explosion of attention that the wrestling industry may soon be experiencing.
