Cassidy vs Ospreay was the best match for sure.

Not hearing/seeing any other injuries, but sheesh. The luck right now.

Edit: Apparently Dax Harwood did get a separated shoulder. Wasn't sure if that was a work or not.

Tony Khan just announced that Forbidden Door did $1M in Ticket Sales and $5M in PPV Buys. That is simply amazing.... and once again let's remember who wasn't on this card. The amount of injuries that kept talent off the card or both rosters in general could have filled out a whole another PPV by itself. Incredible.

Another silver lining here is that forbidden door 1 didn't end up being some super card that would be tough to ever top.

That Osprey/Orange match was fantastic! Match of the night. Loved FTR, and the Mox/Tanahashi was also really good. Wished Storm won as Rosa's reign has been lackluster as hell. Bummer about Cole as well, no Rainmaker spot!

Didn't know about Shibata, or how big of a deal it was, but damn do I want him and Hook for some reason. They are like the same character in look.

Forbidden Door II is going to be huge if people get healthy. Put it in the Tokyo Dome, Tony!

That’s kinda the cool thing about FD1, they still managed to make it feel really cool with all those injuries. So plenty left to make the second one awesome without retreading

Tony Khan was talking about those 2 night events like WM and Wrestle Kingdom and I think AEW doing a "2 night" forbidden door would be cool.

Tokyo is 13 hours ahead of the eastern timezone. Would they be able to do a show at 8pm in Japan (7am ET,4am PT) on a Saturday AND at 12 hours later as well (so 7pm ET/4pm PT on Saturday here would be 8am in Japan on Sunday)?

So the first half of the card takes place in Tokyo, with its own main event. Second half takes place somewhere in the US.
