I don’t think I ever saw her entrance there. I will never not mark out for the Glacier Snow in an entrance [emoji23]

The music is remixed slightly but almost identical to her AEW theme. Here are a few videos for comparison:

      AEW - https://youtu.be/okhIVRn7UHk?si=B6XeCQyho4Fs5KLT

      Tonight - https://youtu.be/hu-2a0eK2cs?si=rkdgl5ss8GZKWkrz

Man, her & Cody did the same thing. Built up their brand and identity just use that to head to the bigger company. [emoji1]

Stuff like this is exactly why - as much as it sucked for talent and he was a POS - Vince was smart trying to own all aspects of a character. Why let a huge talent waltz right into another company using an identity, brand and image (music, entrance, etc) that you aided in cultivating?

I was in the other room when the Bloodline segment started, did I hear that right and Jey vs Jimmy is now going to be Jey vs Solo?

It's Jey vs Solo on the SD before WM.

I think they meant next week on Smackdown and not 'Mania. Or that's at least what I'm hoping unless something happened and Jimmy can't perform.

If this was the Vince Era still, it would be...

              WrestleMania: Smackdown!

"Catch the Pre-Pre-Show of the biggest event of the year!"

They probably still will advertise it as such since the Andre Battle Royal is on it, but sheesh, I remember when they did that with Backlash and it was terrible!

Vince is a greedy, corrupt businessman, so him being obsessed with 'over branding' makes total sense.

I get that it annoyed a lot of people, but it's literally a reality and issue in every aspect of US culture.

                  It still is Wrestlemania Smackdown.

It's in Philly and the HOF is right after it.

They have the WM press conference right before SD as well.

Probably missing something but the way I see it (tv/network wise):

                  Friday:
                  WM Press Conference
                  Smackdown
                  HOF

                  Saturday:
                  Stand and Deliver preshow
                  Stand and Deliver
                  WM Saturday kickoff show
                  WM Saturday
                  WM Saturday Press Conference

                  Sunday:
                  WM Sunday kickoff show
                  WM Sunday
                  WM Sunday Press Conference

With the kind of debuts Cody and now Jade have gotten from WWE. You have to think that’s not being lost on some of the top people at AEW *cough MJF cough*

Even the way they make Lexus King feel like a notable guy in NXT, and Spears keeping his AEW gimmick, it's good at least to see WWE caring about non WWE things.

We know the whole "what you've done outside of WWE means nothing" mindset that exists within WWE. While it's partially true, people got noticed outside of WWE for a reason, makes no sense to scrap all of that and try forcing some completely new role on them.

Imagine if WWE cared about TNA as much as they do AEW and actually tried getting some TNA talent in the late 00s/early 10s instead of doing so when it was too late for guys like Roode and a lesser extent Joe.

It's not lost on people about how things are under Triple H but WWE still lost out on Okada, Osprey, Mercedes and other big free agents to AEW. So while everything is booming in WWE, free agents aren't looking at that and immediately signing there.

Just putting my opinion out there. None of those three are needle movers. Okada and Ospreay are two of the best in the world in the ring, but I hate Ospreay on the mic. Okada would Shinsuke it and be fine.

Mercedes/Sasha. She'll be back. She's also not a huge draw, but she is damn good at everything she does.

What really shocks me is the lack of draw of Edge. Adam Copeland has had an amazing feud with Christian, but it just hasn't translated great.

Like Bard said, none of those three made even a small dent compared to the Cole, Danielson and Punk (in particular Punk) signing initially made.

If anything AEW is stuck in a rut and it'll take something huge for them to pop a big number, again.

I think the easier schedule and 'comparable' pay is gonna appeal to a lot of talent. Especially when they don't have to adjust to WWE's 'rigid' style and toning down their in-ring work.

Unless it's another huge talent (Orton, Batista, Cena, Rollins or Reigns), then I really don't see anyone that can be a true 'Game Changer or Needle Mover.'

Maybe a Charlotte or Becky could also help business, but there is little evidence to back that up?

I'm kinda mad I am saying this, but the ladies are not a draw.

You'll get the initial reaction if Ashley Flair or Rebecca Quinn showed up in AEW, but it would fizzle. Both wouldn't get that 1 million viewership. They both would sell some shows, but would it last over time? I really don't know.

John Cena, Randy Orton, and Batista would be big ratings. Hell, if they for some reason brought in Brock Lesnar, that would be huge.

Seth and Roman are interesting. I really am not sure how well Seth would draw over time. I think Roman would be a BIG needle mover. Roman is the biggest draw of The Shield. Plus a feud with Moxley... not Ambrose, Moxley.

Ok good, Jey vs Solo as the blowoff to Jimmy costing Jey title matches against Roman and Gunther would be a letdown to say the least
