But on a side note, it was nice to see Graves taking bumps. IIRC, this is the first time we've actually seen him take any sort of bump since he retired in NXT over a decade ago!?

There better be a draft or Transfer Portal, Trades or whatever WWE wants to call it after WrestlePalooza. The Smackdown Women's Division is just so stale at this point, the same three women while you have main eventers that Smackdown badly needs to freshen up the World Title scene all in the tag team division or on RAW. I know Bianca is injured so that probably derailed some plans on Smackdown but still, I'm so over this Tiffany/Nia/Jade stuff.Comment

Oba, Trick, Page, Tony, Ricky, Blake, Jacy, Lash, Jaida are names I would call up.
That would freshen up a lot, along with other roster shakeups.Comment

Chelsea announces that Piper is "out on assignment" (I'd guess she's injured) and is taking applications for a new member of the secret hervice.
If they're actually adding another member, Wren Sinclair from NXT would be perfect in that role. With Charlie leaving for Japan and telling her "don't do anything crazy while I'm gone", it would be perfect if she just "left" and went to the main roster and just joined up with Chelsea.Comment

Since Crown Jewel will be the forced "champ vs champ" matches, so far it's looking like Vaquer vs Stratton and Cody vs Rollins.
I could see Tiffany losing the title to Jade before then.
As for Cody vs Rollins, on the post show they mentioned that Drew might not be done with Cody, which leads to an interesting scenario that could come of it.
Drew is going after Cody, Punk going after Rollins, and obviously there's a history with Drew/Punk as well, could we see some sort of McIntyre/Punk involvement in that Cody-Rollins feud or even just directly the match?Comment

Seth's still winless against Cody, right? He can finally get one at Crown Jewel. On the women's side I'd take Vaquer vs Stratton over Jade.
But man, thinking about it more and the SD Women's division just has a lot of problems in general. I think the biggest one is that they haven't gotten anyone new over enough for there to be a real midcard on the SD side, so they have to try and fit women into spots the audience isn't ready to accept them in.- Mia Yim. B-Fab. Zelina. Alba Fyre. Piper Niven. All of them come out to deafening silence.
- Giulia gets slightly more of a reaction, but just barely. Kiana James gets no reaction so I don't know what this pairing is supposed to do.
- Charlotte and Alexa are away from the main title to give that a break and to show a different side of their characters. This is good, I have no complaints. It does mean their pool of opponents is the no-pop club so every match is pretty predictable.
- Tiffany, Nia, Jade (and I assume Bianca) are the title division and they've run that into the ground but they kind of have to? Since they haven't gotten anyone else over there isn't much else they can do. It sucks.

7pm start yet again.
Don't think the numbers have been reported for last week's show, but I wouldn't be surprised to see very similar numbers as other weeks, which might entice wwe to do more 7pm shows?

Main: Bayley, Becky, Iyo, Rhea, Vaquer, Chelsea, Bianca, Jade, Tiffany, AJ
Midcard: Lyra, Candice, Giulia, Nia, Zelina
Tag: Asuka & Kairi, Ivy & ???, Natalya & Maxxine, Alba & ??? (Piper's injured), Bliss & Charlotte, B-Fab & Michin, Roxanne/Raquel
That's 10 women in a main event spot, 5 in the mid card spot, 7 teams in the tag spot. Divide that by 2 and that's how much each brand could have right now just based on current rosters. And most names on the main spot could interchange on the mid card scene too.
Then add the likes of Jacy & Fallon to the tag scene, Jaida & Lash to the mid card scene, Blake to the main scene and you further build the depth right there.
The tag scene is a bit weak, but someone like Chelsea for instance could fit in that category as well if she teams with Alba instead. And calling up Fatal Influence adds another team. Chelsea/Alba, Fatal Influence, Charlotte/Bliss, Asuka/Kairi, Raquel/Roxanne as the 5 leading that divison would make it a strong division too while not hurting the main or mid card scene.Last edited by Majingir; 09-22-2025, 06:13 PM.Comment

Raws viewership on Netflix last week stayed the same from the previous week, meaning the 8pm and 7pm timeslot didn't matter at all to the amount of viewers they got, and NFL doesn't impact it either.
At this point I think that's what WWE is. It's a steady viewership for the most part, you're not gaining new eyeballs but not losing any either.
The day of the week, time of the day, quality of the show and so on, it doesn't seem to make a difference.Comment
