    Re: WWE 2k15 Attributes Thread

Surprisingly, Edge and Christian were pretty low already in their ratings. I did a rerate on those two and will post later. I was talking with MLB Bob and might lower all damage attack ratings by 10-20 each. I'm already averaging 6-7 mins matches for upper card guys. I think this will create more epic match types, but the better wrestler should still prevail.

    Thoughts?

Interested to see the Edge and Christian ratings. I rated them similarly to Chris Jericho, but never tested it out. I'll just end up using yours

I was surprised how low some ratings were, which is fine because that is what we are doing. But Edge is something like 65 for arm power and low in other areas. So i didn't have to make too many changes. But will definitely test the idea of lowering the "attack" ratings more to get longer matches. But those would be a same decrease across the board for all wrestlers to retain the same outcomes. -20 for all, etc.

Much appreciated! With everyones constant feedback it's making this game more fun. It's funny because I took a chance with starting this thread and never thought it would gather as much feedback as it has over 20 pages!

The truth is that we all want the same result with this game. We all want replay, enjoyment, and "realism". The community at operationsports is phenomenal with the knowledge, feedback, assistance, and the passion to take what we've been given, and make it better. Big example is the Revamp Rosters for the NHL series.

It's this passion that i feel the big game companies have lost over the years. But, I digress! I do appreciate the feedback. I'm posting another sheet tonight with the adjusted "attack" values, after i run some tests. I'm following what MLB Bob used and hoping to get similar results! SHOULD make matches a bit longer.

I would think his low rating is based to the idea that the Edge we get with the DLC package is Edge at the end of his career. Had we gotten 2006 or 2008 Edge I would say the ratings would be a lot more realistic to the position Edge was in at that time.

I would be all in for the lowered attack ratings if it does give us longer matches. The big issue for me with this game is the fact they removed the match pacing feature they had in 13 and 2K14.

Currently, testing this with Bryan vs Kane. It's been 7 mins so far. I do like the flow of the match....oops....match just ended as I typed! Bryan did his "yes" chant then running knee smash and won.

Now, one more match test with same guys (CPU vs CPU).

One thing to remember, the match pace in this game is NOT like you see on TV...as much as 2k said they would match that pace. This pace is much faster, which means faster matches. In "real" life, they do take their time looking around the ring, or taking a breather. None of that happens in this game.

I'm positive the new changes will be good, but I think any lower, and the matches will have odd results.

Which slider set do we use? There's different rows.

Each column is it's own slider set. I just grabbed those off the internet or on these forums. Most seem to be using the 2nd column.

                    New file uploaded:

                    Edge and Christian included.
"Original" re-rates are the red columns.
The "power" adjustment tests are in the yellow columns. I don't think I want to go any lower than I have. Check it out...let me know thoughts / suggestions.

Just had a bunch of test matches for the belt with sami Zayn and Finn Balor. I lost a few times as Finn but every match was long and epic. Kick outs, signatures, flips to the outside..kinda reminded me of neville and zayn at R-evolution

                        With the new power rerates?

Watching a sim between Ric Flair & R-Truth in Universe with the old re-rates and the 2nd set of sliders with the edits suggested by RyanLaFalce and its really damn good. A lot of kick outs and reversals. Though even with the edits I don't think R-Truth would be able to compete this much with Flair.

Im seeing great back and forth matches with rerates( plus disabled reversal help text and decreased reversal windows for hum. vs CPU)
im seeing the mega stars kick out of a finisher once at 2 & 3/4, matches are paced ok.
as Brock lesnar I was beaten by Orton today.....
                            in a battle on RAW
Orton took probably 10 german suplexes throughout , kicked out of an F5 at the closest 3 count ever but hit his comeback and reversed my 2nd F5, then got me with a 2nd rko...

however, I did not make the newest adjustments to arm and leg power because I've found my matches to be excellent with the original attribute changes.

Lesnar should be dominant. period, maybe not completely dominate HHH
but I used the original attribute& strength changes on the 1st page, Legend difficulty,
lowered reversal windows and reversal help prompts
