To answer a few posts above me.

I had 2 shows that had between 30-40 wrestlers per show, with about 5 belts divided between them. I thought this was too much, as most of the matches I saw were rivalry matches, so lots of wrestlers took weeks off before they had a match. I made a new Universe and have between 23-25 wrestlers on each brand (3 brands total, WWE, WCW, ECW) With each brand comes 3 belts, so my Universe has 9 belts all together. I haven't started yet, but I feel like this would be a better size.

Roddy, if you reset Universe Mode, it reverts all the wrestlers to their default show. You can then delete the 2 extra shows (Main Event and NXT) and the wrestlers on those shows will be a free agent and not on any shows.

Buckeyd, I've only seen a few cutscenes with my CAWS. But they're there. It's the same ones you see in Career Mode. Most involve rivalry.

Hey guys -

Was wondering if anyone had any tips for Universe Mode? I've been out of the wrestling loop for the better part of the last 10 years (slowly catching up on what's happened via WWE Network). Also haven't done a Universe Mode since 2012. I have a bunch of ideas but don't want to get too crazy and then get overwhelmed. Anyone have any tips for a new UM user? Much appreciated.

You're in the same boat as I am. Going to split it between three shows. NXT will be triple A (might create myself and a few other guys to add there) Smackdown will be double A. Midcard guys and Divas. Raw will be the Major leagues. I might throw in a Diva show and a legends show, but I don't want to overwhelm myself at first.

Every quarter I'll make moves. Bottom 5 from each fed will move up or down.

Not sure if I'll cut back on PPV or make some brand specific.

Amy tips on how to form a tag team without manually setting up a 2 on 2 rivalry? I have a CAW Razor Ramon that I would like in a tag team with someone random that the game chooses & not me

Damn, no idea how I'm gonna break these shows down. I guess add smackdown back and cut half the legends out of my legends brand

Yeah I was kind of under the same idea but was thinking of killing Smackdown and making it Nitro but that might be to extreme to start with. Still debating. lol

I noticed going through the roster a lot of the big name guys are booked for both RAW and Smackdown - which I kind of like in a way because it's like the old days where there were no different brands. But with so many wrestlers it's almost best to make a divide.

This game has no playback value to me. Personal opinion. I'm trying to set it up to mimic real life but with part timers gone & taking anyone whose injured out until they return in real life.

I find it difficult to set up Raw & Smackdown to mimic that. I want guys to show up on both shows like real life but some only contend for 1 title ex. Swagger should only contend for US but make appearances on both shows. Can't do that here.

Tried making the US title a Major on smackdown and IC minor for both but then my US title guys can't show up on Raw without being in ranking for the World Title.

Sorry for the rant. Any tips would be appreciated

I have 4 shows going and they are all separate from each other, well as best you can anyway with their own titles and PPVs.

On Monday of course I have Raw that has a World Title, US title and tag titles

Tuesday I have Tuesday Night Nitro with all their belts, made a Tuesday night logo and either someone made it also or took mine and uploaded it cause it looks very much like mines from the preview picture...not even sure I uploaded it but like the way it's going so far.

Wednesday night is NXT, Thursday of course is Smackdown and Friday night I have Women of Wrestling with so far just a World title and US title. Wondering also if I should simulate the first year to have rivalries or just play through. I imagine that they will happen automatically eventually right?.....maybe I'll sim..

You pick the guys that will be in the match and then you press triangle or y, there should be an option to choose any title to make part of the match

Setting up a universe for the first time. Trying to get my head wrapped around it. Few questions:


1) Setting Allies & Enemies for the wrestlers, what's the difference in levels and how does it make a difference?


2) If you have two wrestlers setup as a tag team, will they ever wrestle as singles and/or go for single titles themselves?


3) If you have a wrestler affiliated with two majors, they can go for all belts in either one?
