I've restarted my universe 3 times already. Just can't settle on how I want to organize it

lol I started with a 90's WWF vs WCW Universe via around 1996. Then I decided that wouldn't be fun until the dlc with the outsiders and harlem heat is released, so I restarted to be current WWE.

I feel you

I like to put Raw and Smackdown as 2 different major shows. The WWE champ is on both shows. IC title is Smackdown (it's what Daniel Bryan claims he was planning to do after winning it at Wrestlemania), and the US title on Raw. Tag Team and Divas titles are both brands.

I do my WWE title rivalry on Raw. My main event non title feud on raw and a US title feud or another non title rivalry. On Smackdown I do the IC title feud, Tag Team title feud, and a divas feud.

On ppv I get 6 rivalry matches which makes for really good cards with no randoms

Totally revitalized my universe mode without reseting it. I got the Young Bucks to join RAW, Smackdown got the Dudley Boyz. RAW got AJ Styles so therefore I got the Bullet Club in the game with AJ and the Bucks. I also got James Storm, Aries, Sabin and Samoa Joe for NXT with Joe in a feud with Balor. I also got Gable and Jason Jordan. Last but not least Bayley in NXT.

I also went thru each superstars and decided who would contend for what. My main stars are going for the heavyweight gold (wwe belt for smackdown and the whc for raw). I got roughly around 10 main contenders for the major title in each show. I also went and decided who would contend for the Intercontinental title (Raw) and US (smackdown) and I also got around to doing who would challenge for tag belts only, one for each show is how I got, with each show running with 4-5 teams at any given time. Finally my jobbers that won't contend for **** at all.

My NXT is filled with talent too, but some of them I'll move up to raw or smackdown if I feel I want to make a twist or something in a PPV, or my weekly US Open Challenge that I'm doing with Cena with Smackdown stars only.

Edit : Guys help me out, I'm planning on doing a tournament for either the WHC or Intercontinental title on Raw, how could I book it that by the fourth week on the PPV I'd have title holder vs the tournament winner. Did any of you guys book a tournament like this already? I got no idea where to start. Thanks.

You can try a 4-man king of the ring in week 1. Then a 4-man king of the ring in week 2 with different competitors.

In Week 3 have the winners of the 2 king of the rings face off in a singles #1 contenders match.

Week 4 The winner vs. the champ. (Maybe after that a champions rematch at the ppv if he loses the title)

EDIT: maybe you can have a schmozzy finish in the tournament finals where the babyface gets screwed and loses. Then at the ppv you can have a triple threat.

I think I'm finding that with the standard real life wrestlers I get biased and push guys that probably shouldn't be pushed, and I try to replicate reality a little too much.

I think in order to get the most out of Universe this year I'm going to create a fictional federation with all original CAWs. I did this back on 2006 with the GM Mode and it was a blast. Might have to revisit the idea.

Week 3 Revolution is up. Hoping to have Smackdown up tomorrow night and Showdown on Wednesday with Week 4 over the weekend. If I really get things going I might have Extreme Rules up by the end of the weekend (especially with the Pack playing Thursday night so can do more stuff on Sunday)

Rivalry mode isn't the main thing that set ups cut scenes. How someone ranks as a rival or an ally is a big determining factor. Set up guys to be high level rivals and allies in each person separately and you should see cut scenes.

This is how it's worked in past games and I've had no issues. My allies/rivalries are well set up yet I'm not seeing cutscenes.

Can you verify that you have seen non-rivalry cutscenes in your game?

I'm not very far in yet so I don't believe I've seen anything yet but I'm not even through 3 weeks.

This happened to me as well when I only had 15 or 16 people assigned to a show. Do you have less than 20 competitors assigned to the show? I'm pretty sure if you add a few more competitors to the show the 5th match will occur.

A few pages back I asked why I was only getting 4 matches on my Raw show when I wanted 6/7 in my universe - I've finally had the time today to get back on the game, I added a few jobbers to my Raw roster (taking total participants up to 26) and now that week I'm being given the 6 matches per show like I chose in the options. So hopefully that's solved that, cheers!

I picked this game up for $30 last night and want to do something similar. I haven't watched wrestling in decades and find today's setup too distracting.

I'd love to setup just a basic universe (almost like NCAA football rankings) with all fictional guys.

I haven't opened the game yet because I'm still out of town visiting for the holidays, but is this sort of full fledged fictional world possible?

Is the creation suite still as slow as the original OS review makes it sound?
