Welcome aboard our time machine to our childhood.

The Mets were part of my first baseball game. It was Strat-O-Matic and I had gotten the selection set. I had selected the Boston Red Sox (naturally), Cleveland Indians (Sudden Sam & The Hawk), Washington Senators (Hondo), New York Mets (world champs), St.Louis Cardinals (my favorite non-Red Sox player was Bob Gibson) and the Atlanta Braves (Hammerin' Hank). My parents bought the game for me in 1970 so the stats year was 1969, which was also Tony C.'s comeback year after being beaned in 1967.

Don, how about this player. Al Hrabowski (The Mad Hungarian). I loved being able to see him pitch, what a wild man.
