Our current road trip ends as we take on the Frisco RoughRiders.

Another day, another pounding. Sooner or later, I've got to be more consistant if I'm ever going to make it. I was battered for 8 hits in 4 innings, three of those hits were home runs. I left the game with us trailing 6-0 and the RoughRiders ended up winning 6-2.

My goal period period ended and I was told that I failed because I only achieved 2 of 4 goals.

New Goals

1. Increase stamina
2. Increase H/9 attribute
3. Increase durability
4. Allow 25 hits or less
5. Have OPP batting average lower than .200
6. Record 1 or more quality starts

We are back home and are hosting the Midland RockHounds.

Again I start off rather poorly. I allow 4 runs on 9 hits before being pulled after 6.0 innings. I left with the score 4-1, RockHounds, and they ended up winning, 4-3, as I continue my losing streak.

We are ending our homestand by hosting the Corpus Cristi Hooks.

As the radio DJ's used to say, "And the hits just keep on coming". I allow a total of 9 hits and leave with two outs in the top of the 6th with the game tied, 4-4, and two runners on. The next pitcher allows the two runners to score but our bats wake up and tie the game in the last of the 9th, 7-7. The Hooks ended up defeating us in 12 innings, 9-7.

We are back on the road and are facing the Corpus Cristi Hooks.

I go 2-4 at the plate with a bunt single and also drive in a run with a single to center while also scoring a run as we defeat the Hooks, 9-3. Oh, I also scatter 7 hits in 7 1/3 innings of work and only allow 3 runs, all in the 3rd inning, as my losing streak finally comes to an end.

We enter the last month of the second half of the regular season and I have just been promoted to #2 in the starting rotation (#2 SP).

After a brief road trip, we are now back home and hosting the Frisco RoughRiders.

I start out strong and scatter 10 hits, striking out four, before being lifted with one out in the 7th and the Missions on top, 4-2. We ended up tacking on two more runs in the last of the 7th and we went on to win, 6-3.
