Yeah, true about J-Hey... I'm not too sure how that's going to play out just yet. He put up great regular season numbers but honestly this is now 2 consecutive playoffs he went ice cold. Makes you doubt whether we should go forward with him or if it might be time to go in a new direction.
As a Yankees fan, I'm used to my Most Valuable Player checking out for the post season....

I say bring him back. Let's continue the 'Bro-mance.' He carried you when your legs were too weak to walk. It was pretty bleak there at times...

      Bring him back!

He just tore up Santana in my franchise and had a career game. Two HR including a grand slam. He had 8 RBI's in the game. I have no idea where this offensive explosion came from.

          Brilliant. Damn brilliant.
Yeah, its been an amazing story... hope he keeps going and going even though its on 11...

Kind of makes me wish I'd have done my franchise as a play one-sim five just to get more action.

Ah yeah it's all good, just taking an Olympic Break honestly and catching up on some other people's stuff here for the time being. I've found that the break between posts not only helps to keep things fresh, but allows me a chance to get legit rusty on the sticks the first couple of games in the season which adds to the realism for me.

I remember someone put me on this system back in 09 on the Show Forums here. Although most people don't agree to it since you're not 100% in control of your end of the year stats, I have found it's the best way to get through a season and still have a feel for your team. If you were to play more than 1 it would go by just as slow, and if you skipped a start, you could be away from your team for like 2 weeks which would be too long.

I'm just glad I was able to provide a chance for people to see that the rotating schedule can workout for those that want to go that route. It's certainly pleasing to be going into year 5 as opposed to still being in the first season, or not finishing at all.

I appreciate you taking the time to address this... so do you play for the most part a direct Play 1 - Sim 5, or do you mix and match?

I've been playing every pitch as with MVP modded and with no other quality game I played it for years and had 11 to 13 complete seasons... so trying it here... just see the depth in the stories -- and while I agree that the stats wouldn't totally be mine.. I am considering doing another story alongside just to get to the level of depth of yours a bit quicker.

I think people are kind of bored with my posts as I'm only 33 games in now playing every pitch, and I just don't think it is enough action to keep people interested...

Definitely interested to hear your exact format for your played games, and if you wouldn't mind the gameplay settings you use? I think this information would be invaluable to many of us.

Regardless, thank you for hours of entertainment already, and I look forward to so many more. I can't do it right now, but do you have a Paypal available? I'd definitely be interested in making a small donation for all the work you have put forth to entertain us all.

Thanks again, on behalf of all your fans here. We all absolutely love you! (no homo)

Lilbiggio said he was taking a definite break for the Olympics, and said he usually allows a little time to allow himself to get "rusty on the sticks" for the new season -- but he definitely said he was continuing. Eagerly awaiting it right along with ya, HnV!!
