Coaching Career of Bob Knight (No, not THAT Bob Knight) - take #2 - ps2

    VIRGINIA MILITARY INSTITUTE

Lexington, VA - A surprise press conference today by the AD of VMI was to announce the resignation of basketball coach Dugger Baucom. Coach Baucom decided to persue other things and wished the team and school well. The Athletic Director then announced the hiring of Bob Knight, a successful coach in the high school ranks, to be the next head basketball coach of the Keydets. The members got excited, and confused, that Bob Knight would leave Texas Tech to be coach of the much smaller school. Unfortunately, it was not THAT Bob Knight that was arriving.

(note: Army was available but I decided to try a different military team)

    mode of play: Coach Mode
coach all games or sim some: What's sim? (i will coach all games)
    sliders: Piper's coach mode
recruiting: my "assistants" will take care of the recruiting. i will have final say & offer scholarships, if any
    game/console: ch2k8/ps2

Re: Coaching Career of Bob Knight (No, not THAT Bob Knight) - take #2 - ps2

The day has finally come and new coach Bob Knight saw what the players had during their annual first practice that is on the day known as Midnight Madness.

"This team has a bunch of good to great shooters who can put up long range shots at a whim." Coach Knight stated. "However, the players don't play defense all that well and that will probably lead to a lot of shootouts. I hope that we have enough lights in storage for the scoreboard because we will certainly keep the scorer busy."

        Code:
        Starting Five

        PG Adam Lonon
        SG Chavis Holmes
        SF Reggie Williams
        PF Quinn Brownfield
        C Stephen Sargent

As well as the top 25, I will be trying to follow the other coaches' schools that are being journaled. When the coaches change their schools, I will start following the new schools.

As an added treat to you readers, I will also follow your favorites as well. Please let me know which ones they are. I will start with the avatar as a starting point (that is, if there is a school logo there).

So far, the list of schools are:

            Appalachian State
            Butler
            Duke
High Point (sj's 2k4 legacy team - look for them in the big south section, along with Winthrop/VMI)
            Howard
            Illinois
            Michigan
            North Florida
            Oklahoma State
            Texas
            UAB (Alabama-Birmingham)
            USC
            West Virginia
            Winston-Salem State
Winthrop (they are in my conference so look for them there).

            Would anyone like any others?

I'll definitely be following since VMI and Winthrop are in the same conference.

If it mirrors real life, you would do me a bigger favor by NOT following them!
