                    And in the end....

It is with great sorrow that I have to report that after I played the Penn State-Ohio State game, I went to save the results and the file is corrupted.

At least I lasted a couple of years (real life) in doing this. That's the longest that I've ever gone with any dynasty/legacy/whatever.

I still have a book that has the rosters from when this started but I'll have to relocate the rosters of the small conference teams if I decide to start another one. If I do decide to start a new one, I will probably have "Coach Knight" start where the real one started, which was at West Point (Army) and then see where it goes from there.

                          NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had that happen to me once, which is why I always save an alternate file. I usually have two files and save on the first one after game #1 and the second file after game #2 and so on. In my case, save #1 is on my 360's hard drive and save #2 is on a memory card, so even the 360's entire hard drive corrupting won't kill my legacy.

I really hope to see you fire up another one, Bob. Army would be a good choice and you can try to repeat what you started with 2K7 (which you also did with Army).

Thanks. Due to the large readership, I will be starting a new one with "Coach Bob Knight" right after I put in the rosters for the teams playing against the Army Black Knights during the 2007-08 season.

That is where the real Bob Knight started his head coaching career. With ch2k6, I did that and got Army into the "Big Dance", something that Coach Bob Knight and Coach K never did. Maybe lightning will strike twice.
