                  Munns and Feeney trade hooks and after Waller and Wooden trade jumpers, Bowens swishes a jumper. Feeney drains a hook then after Wilkins puts in a layup, Feeney slams in a dunk to tie the game, 8-8, with under 15:00 remaining. Wooden and Nelke drop in layups then after Jordan sinks a short turnaround jumper and a layup, Wooden banks in a short turnaround jumper and Reece nails a jump hook to give Ohio State a four point lead, 16-12, halfway through the first half. Feeney jams in a dunk and both Peterson and Sylla sink hooks then after Feeney and Sylla knock down jumpers.                       Legans puts in a layup and after Reece banks in a jump hook, Pena lays in a rebound. Feeney banks in a layup then Osimani and Wooden bank in layups on fast breaks to give Ohio State a four point lead, 8-4, with 15:00 remaining. Legans banks in a layup and after Wooden converts a 3-point play, Waleskowski dunks home a rebound and Pena banks in a layup. Sylla knocks down a jump hook and Osimani puts in a layup on a fast break then Alleyne makes 1 of 2 free throws and Henson nails a 3pter to pull Iowa State to within one, 15-14, halfway through the opening half. Cross and Nelke trade one free throw and after Louh puts in a layup, Sylla knocks down a short turnaround jumper to give Ohio State a three point lead, 13-10, with 15:00 remaining.
