              The bigger challenge will be next season. I am losing four starters, possibly five if junior Brent Reece leaves early.

                        First Half

                        Sylla nails a short turnaround jumper and Reece slams in a dunk on a fast break and after McKowen makes two free throws, Peterson converts a 3-point play. Wooden puts in a layup on a fast break then after Terry sinks a 3pter and McKowen swishes a short turnaround jumper, Nelke drains two free throws and Wooden cans 1 of 2 free throws to give Ohio State a five point lead, 12-7, with under 15:00 remaining. McKowen sinks a jump hook and after Nelke banks in a layup, Hickman hits a 3pter. Wooden makes two free throws then after Sims nails a jumper, Millsap cans a hook to give the Buckeyes a four point lead, 18-14, halfway through the opening period. Sims makes two free throws and Robbins banks in a layup on a fast break and after Peterson sinks a short turnaround jumper, McKowen and Peterson trade two free throws. Carroto cans two free throws and Galbreath banks in a layup on a fast break then after Thomson nails a short jumper, Carroto tips in a rebound. Terry and Peterson trade layups then Pulley drops in a layup to give Michigan State a four point lead, 30-26, with 5:00 to go. Galbreath cans a jump hook and Terry makes two free throws then after Terry and Carroto put in layups, Terry cans two free throws to give the Spartans a 14-point lead at the half. Wooden stuffs in a dunk on a fast break and Reece banks in a turnaround jumper then Pulley puts in a layup to give Michigan State a 20-point lead, 50-30, with just over 15:00 remaining. Wooden hits a jumper and Reece sinks a jump hook and after Wooden makes 1 of 2 free throws, Smallwood and Millsap trade jumpers. Osimani puts in a layup then Pulley banks in a layup to give the Spartans a 15-point lead, 54-39, midway through the second half. Pulley hits a 3pter and Smallwood nails a hook and after Galbreath sinks a short turnaround jumper, Millsap makes two free throws and Wooden lays in a rebound. Galbreath buries a hook and Atkins lays in a rebound then Reece and Smallwood trade two free throws as Michigan State builds its lead to 22, 67-45, with 5:00 left.                             First Half

                            Peterson drops in a layup and Sylla slams in a dunk then after Reece sinks a short jumper, Couisnard jams in a dunk to pull Michigan to within four, 6-2, with just under 15:00 remaining. Couisnard and Millsap trade short jumpers and after Elliott drains a 3pter, Couisnard makes two free throws to give the Wolverines the lead. Root puts in a layup then Reece sinks a short turnaround jumper and Osimani buries a 3pter to give Ohio State the lead, 13-11, halfway through the first half. Root hits a 3pter then after Peterson puts in a layup and Sylla makes a short turnaround jumper, Reece stuffs in a dunk and Hardy cans 1 of 2 free throws. Elliott buries a 3pter and Noel sinks a short turnaround jumper and after Mayer drills two free throws, Calvert gets 1 of 2 free throws. Noel dunks in a rebound then Bone drops in a layup to give Michigan a six point lead, 26-20, with under 5:00 to go.
