Wooden puts in a layup on a fast break then after Terry sinks a 3pter and McKowen swishes a short turnaround jumper, Nelke drains two free throws and Wooden cans 1 of 2 free throws to give Ohio State a five point lead, 12-7, with under 15:00 remaining. McKowen sinks a jump hook and after Nelke banks in a layup, Hickman hits a 3pter. Root puts in a layup then Reece sinks a short turnaround jumper and Osimani buries a 3pter to give Ohio State the lead, 13-11, halfway through the first half.
