Well, I guess Martinez's stats are true to how I play..I normally dont shot too much, I instead like to be more of the facilitator. Still, I'd like for my guy to step up his scoring just a tad lol

Good win against FSU! Looks like you got some solid wins after that as well.

Yeah the fact that FSU starting lineup is all 80+ Overalls, gives them alot of options for scoring, so we will see how he does the rest of the year.

The FSU win was a big one for us. UCSB and UMKC were not that big of competion after winning that one.. I have had pretty good success in the WAC the past 2 years, but it looks like Nevada will be a challenge this year. Hoping I can keep my streak going to make a run in the NCAA tourney this year and get to a Final 4

I will be sure to include draft buzz with the end of the season stats. I believe you are 1st round buzz right now. Most of the time FR don't leave unless they are lottery or top pick status that I have seen.

That is why I have always loved Closed Legacies, because you were always excited at the end of the year to see if your coach got a bigger and better job offer, but Coach D has alot of work still to be done here in Boise. We havn't made a Final 4 yet..
Ha, yeah. That (edit) pre-dynasty plan doesn't always pan out when you want to go for a change of scenery. I'll admit I'm as impatient as heck. Don't worry though, the final 4 is within reach. And one day those pesky recruits will stop passing you up for "lesser" schools.

BRONCOS GO 7-1 FOR THE MONTH OF JAN.

After struggling in Non-Conference play to start the season, the Boise State Broncos got on a win streak winning their last 3 games to improve to 7-6 entering WAC play. Comments by Coach Derozan

"Overall I am very happy with the way the team is playing right now. We are getting great production from our bench. Prosper Fullove has been on fire and D. Wiley is starting to find his 3pt stroke. We still have some big games left though including Nevada who is 20-2 and riding a 13 game win streak, next plus later again the following week"

I would have preferred Wheeler goes to Michigan State but I am a fan of Marquette as well so that should be fun, also nice 14-7 record. Hopefully you can make it to the NCAA tournament.

                  COMMENTS BY COACH D

"Obviously we are disappointed with the loss, but I guess if we were going to lose one this was the time to do it, because once the Conference Tourney or NCAA Tourney starts, if you lose you go home. I am however very excited to have won the WAC Title for the 2nd straight year. Nevada had a great season, but our guys played them tough and I feel like we have what it takes to beat them a 3rd time if need be"

Thanks I got the WAC tourney played. Just got to get it posted.. I am pretty happy with how things are going so far. The team is young and even if I can't make a run in the NCAA tourney, I still have next year to look forward to.

                                FINAL WAC STANDINGS

                                BOISE STATE 13-3

                                NEVADA 12-4

                                SAN JOSE STATE 11-5

                                LA TECH 8-8

                                FRESNO STATE 7-9

                                UTAH STATE 7-9

                                NEW MEXICO STATE 5-11

                                HAWAII 5-11

                                IDAHO 4-12

For the 2nd straight year the Broncos have won the Regular Season title and will take the #1 seed into the tourney. Coach Derozan will be looking to win his 3rd WAC Tourney Title and make a 3rd straight trip the NCAA tourney which would be just the 7th time in school history. BSU has never made it to a Sweet-16 round and has only 1 win in the NCAA tourney (last year).

                                #3 VS #6

                                #4 VS #5

Ryne Scott of ESPN "The Ocho" comments-

"I think the SJSU vs Utah State matchup is one to watch. SJSU came out strong in the WAC aftering going 1-12 in Non-Conference play well Utah State was orginally a preseason favorite to challenge BSU for the title. At this point however I think most fans are hoping for a rematch of #1 BSU vs #2 Nevada. BSU RPI is #47 so they have a outside chance at a At-Large bid, but Nevada's NCAA hopes are tied to a Championship win, with a RPI of #71
