Thanks. I actually have fond memories of SLU, with my orginal Coach Derozan I started my string of 12 National Titles with winning 4 at SLU, 4 at Iowa and 4 at UCLA

It has been a roller coaster of a season for me so far and let's just say it didn't get any easier facing #8 Indiana. (will post game later today). I then have to play (6-3) Florida State before finishing off Non-Conference play with the Golden Bear Classic.

At least your team will be battle tested heading into conference play. Might be useful experiences come tournament time.

Yeah you played great. So far you have been the highest scorer among the created recruits, but I still got to face Martinez the former #1 Overall, and for some reason I didn't schedule Villanova, so I will have to check on how Ghost Watson is doing.

I am just waiting on a couple of banners that are being made before I post my Recruiting Update as well as a Update on the current Boardmember players Non-Conference Stats through December.

The 1st half was a Offensive showcase as both teams combined to score 105 points (Duke-55 Memphis-50). In the 2nd half the Dukie's D would show up holding the Tigers to just 31 pts as Duke pulled away for the victory to take home the National Title.

                        INSEASON RECRUITING RECAP

Good Evening and welcome to the In-Season Recruiting Recap. I am your host Ryne Scott.

Earlier in the season we gave you a breakdown of some of the top high school players in the nation and now that signing day has come, it's time to take a look at where these guy's will be playing for next year. Did you school land one of the best players in the nation? or will your left wiping your tears as your favorite school once again fails to land a impact player?

We will start the #1 Overall player in the country 6'7 Agustin Aboy. Aboy had alot of schools offering (over 6 scholarships) but in the end Aboy picked the Louisville Cardinals.

Aboy "Playing in the Big East is as big as it gets and it seems year after year the Cards are always in the hunt for a Championship title and a spot in the NCAA tourney"

Moving on to the #2 Overall player we meet up with 6'6 Floyd McKnight. Like Aboy, McKnight isn't orginally from the US, coming to California from Ontario Canada. McKnight made a huge impact on his high school and ABL team and next year he will have a chance to help Coach Sean Miller get the Arizona Wildcats back intot the NCAA tourney.

Coach Miller however will have to wait until the end of the season to see if 6'2 Michael Johnson will be joining McKnight in Tuscon. The PG/SG still has the Washington State Cougars #1 on his board with Arizona coming in a close #2.

Last year we saw PG hybrid Ghost Watson sign with the Villanova Wildcats but that hasn't stopped Coach Wright from signing one of the best PG in this year's class as well as the #6 Overall and Mr BB from NY (Tyrell Coley) will be joining Watson in the backcourt next season.

Most people assumed that #9 Overall JeMarcus Green (Mr BB from Arkansas) would stay instate and play for the Razorbacks, but instead Arkansas has moved to #3 on his list replaced by Kansas at #1 and Louisville at #2. (Kansas is offering a scholly as well as #5 WSU)

Here is a look at some of the other noteable players
PG 6'0 James Frizzell- High Point NC (SuperJames)
                        AA Ranked #17 Overall/#5 PG

                        AA-Ranked #22 Overall/#9 PG

                        Still unsigned
(#1 Indiana, #2 Kansas (both offering) #3 Louisville)

COACH DEROZAN STRIKES OUT YET AGAIN!!

                          INSEASON RECRUITING RECAP

For the 3rd straight year, Coach Derozan has failed to land the best player from the state of Idaho as Mr BB 4* 6'5 SF Timon Cummings (#67 Overall/#13 SF) has decided to join his high school teammate and friend Kyle Thomas at the University of Brigham Young.

Coach D "We are disappointed that Cummings like Thomas had some pressure from friends and family to attend BYU, but it's just something we will have to deal with."

Besides losing out on Cummings, Coach Derozan also struck out on 2 future stars when 5* AA Mr BB UT J. Acasio (#13 Overall/#6 SG) and 7'0 PF/C Seth Johnson (Dynasty Josh) both signed with Washington State.

Coach D "Again we felt like adding Acasio and Johnson to our core players (Akpan/Mbaye/Diarra) would have been huge for us in taking the next step and making a trip to a Elite 8 or even Final 4 in the next couple of years, now we are forced to try and hope for the best with plan B"

Plan B starts with the signing of 6'3 SG Cedric Dumont the 3* Mr BB from Portland Oregon. This marks the 2nd year that Coach D has gone into Oregon and landed the Mr BB (signed A. Legee 2 years ago). Dumont is rated #105 Overall and #31 SG.

Coach D "We are very excited about Dumont. We feel he has the potential to come in and replace D. Wiley at SG Day 1 if needed or he will be a huge scoring weapon off the bench, if Legee moves back into the starting lineup with Akpan moving over to the #2 spot."

With 3 scholarship left, Coach Derozan has changed up his target list. 6'10 Everett Wingate (#196 Overall/#17 C) is still being targeted #1 and has a scholarship offer, but joining him now are 4* 6'7 Dandoriss Mascoll (#64 Overall/#7 PF) out of Los Angeles CA and 4* 6'2 Abdul Burrell (#57 Overall/#21 PG) out of San Jose CA.

Coach D "We are very excited to find to very talented players who have yet to really gain much interest from alot of teams here on the West Coast. Mascoll is a shooting forward who will probably move to SF in our system and could be a instant starter at the #3 spot next year (Boise State currently leads as the #1 school and is offering, followed by UNLV,Washington,Saint Mary's and BYU), Burrell like Mascoll could be a instant starter as well moving into the starting PG role, and moving D. Fields back to the bench. Burrell led the Thunderstorm of th ABL with 6.4 APG. Right now Abdul has Oregon #1 but they have not offered a scholly followed by BSU and Gonzaga. Only BSU is offering."

Wow, that's some tough luck on the recruiting trial. But it looks like you're still managing to bring in some quality players who can grow into very effective starters. Keep it up.
