I would say send a PM to anybody who you want to shop that player to. Also, yes I would PM me if you want it to be "leaked" as a rumor here on the thread. I would prefer that we don't post that kind of stuff in here to keep the thread looking as clean as possible.

Also- been working hard on the packets folks. Please be patient they are almost done and I will get them out ASAP. There is A LOT of information to put into these but all I have left is to enter the Bird Years for every player and then update the free agent pool and I am done.

Really appreciate all the hard work you are putting into these packets. This is one of the best ideas I have heard in a while. It may sound completely nerdy, but this is completely awesome, because I'm sure I'm not the only one in here that has the unreal dream of wanting to be an NBA GM. It's the closest we can get to that, and with 29 other GM's and a league commissioner it feels really sim. Just really wanted to say I appreciate your work and really look forward to this.

Hey everybody,

As I finish up these packets today, I have a question to pose to the community at large. I was leaning towards skipping summer league this year because it has already ended in real life. However, if the overwhelming consensus is that we want to start with SL as originally planned then that would be fine.

What do you guys think?

I dont care either way but Im curious how you determined the new rookies overall ratings. Did you account for the real NBA summer league at all?

Whatever is easiest for you. I'm down for either option and cant wait to get this started!(Not trying to rush you though).

Also I just want to say thank you for everything you have and will do for this league, this is truly one of the most unique associations out there and I think it will be one of the only successful associations as well.

If you are including the preseason games in the association before the regular season games, I don't really see the additional benefit of summer league for the first year, since as you said, it has passed in real life. I could go either way though, I'm just really excited to get this underway because it seems like we have a lot of dedicated GM's which will make transactions that much more sim. Not doing summer league in year one could save you some additional work of having to adjust everyone's summer league rosters and all that. Especially after you worked so hard on the document explaining that cap and trading rules to everyone, not to mention the team packets, which I believe is truly a nice touch of realism for the association. Whatever you decide, your work and effort on these additional resources are greatly appreciated!
