Re: Nuka's C.A.P - The Journey Begins
Just letting you guys know, my guy may be a pothead that drinks and parties a lot (I mean YOLO, right) but going to Harvard has given him immensely good grammar for an NBA player.Comment

Re: Nuka's C.A.P - The Journey Begins
November Update:
Trades:
Celtics trade: Jason Terry, '14 2nd round pick
Suns trade: '15 1st round pick, Channing Frye
Suns trade: Markieff Morris
Nuggets trade: '15 1st round pick, '15 2nd round pick
Magic trade: Maurice Harkless
Bucks trade: Tobias Harris, Jared Sharpe
Rookie Report
Danny Papluka - #20:
Boston Celtics
15GP, 5.5PPG, 2.8RPG, 1.5APG, .465FG%
Report: Papluka fits in well behind Rondo. So well in fact, Boston traded Jason Terry, who was playing backup. He reached a career high of 19 minutes, scoring 11 points and 6 rebounds in the win against Brooklyn Nets. Has a career high of 12 points.
Jamie Stafford - #9:
New Orleans Hornets
17GP, 3.6PPG, 3.5RPB, .545FG%, .571FT%
Report: Currently suffering from Back Spasms and is day-to-day, he has been playing about 9 minutes a game, backing up big man Anthony Davis and Al-Farouq Aminu at SF. When asked how he felt about the team, he smirked and replied "I am happy with the direction this organization is going, and my part in taking it there". He has a career high of 10 points in his game against James Kemmerer and the Orlando Magic.
Christian Carter - #9
Sacramento Kings
16GP, 4.4PPG, 1.5RPG, 2.6APG, .500FG%, 1.000-3PT%, .889FT%
Report: Playing an average 10 minutes per game, the 6'6 205lb Shooting Guard is in love with his team, and the town. He had his career high of 9 points against Noah Jackson and the Portland Trail Blazers, shooting 4-4 from the field, and 1-2 from the charity line. His one and only shot from behind the arc landed in the blowout against Memphis Grizzlies.
James Kemmerer - #30
Orlando Magic
14GP, 10PPG, 2.4RPG, 2.1APG, .436FG%, .500-3PT%, .333FT%
Report: Kemmerer had a career high of 10 points in the win against Alonzo Reyes and the Milwaukee Bucks. He also recorded 3 reb, 4 ast and 1 stl; making 3-4 from the field and sinking his only 3-point shot.
D'Brickashaw Leonard - #33
Dallas Mavericks
14GP, 9MPG, 2.7PPPG, .545FG%
Report: Leonard recorded a career high of 6 points, shooting 100% from the field, in the loss against Omuis Gobbledegook and the Pistons. There was an altercation and words were exchanged between the two, but the refs intruded. His presence makes Jared Cunningham (2012 pick) very uncomfortable, and word has it that Cunningham has requested a trade. Look for Leonard to become the new backup Shooting Guard in the near future.
Omuis Gobbledegook - #69
Detroit Pistons
16GP, 8MPG, 2.3PPG, 2.1RPG, 2.1APG, .520FG%, .733FT%
Report: Gobbledegook was made fun of back in highschool for his name. He has a tendency to mouth off at the refs and other players. His career high of 6 points came in the loss to Jamie Stafford and the Hornets. He splits time but plays a couple more minutes with Andre Drummond, the rookie picked in the 2012 draft. They both backup the lead Center, Greg Monroe.
Brandon Dean - #27
Toronto Raptors
17GP, 19MPG, 12PPG, 3.3APG, .730FT%
Report: A Home-Town boy. Dean didn't have to go far when he got drafted. The Raptors really needed a backup Point Guard after Calderon left in the 3-team trade a couple weeks ago. He is averaging 19 minutes a game, and has a career best of 18 points, and 21 minutes played. His 21 minute game came in the loss to Christian Carter and the Kings. This is also when he scored his career high 18 points, shooting 6-11 from the field, 5-7 from the line and 25% (1-4) from behind the arc. He was also named Rookie of the month in November.
Noah Jackson - #35
Portland Trail Blazers
17GS, 17GP, 32MPG, 6PPG, 8RPG, .505FG%, .685FT%
Report: Right from the get-go, this man is a star. Orlando drafted him 1st overall, then traded him to the Bobcats, who shipped him off in the same draft to Portland. As it turns out, he is a starter here and fits in nice beside Aldridge. Look at Portland to make some changes and trade J.J. Hickson. He has a career high of 26 points against Danny Papluka and the Boston Celtics. He was also named Rookie of the month in November.
Jake White - #22
Washington Wizards
15GP, 9MPG, 4.6PPG, 1.2RPG, 2.6APG, .733FT%
Report: Recording only 1 foul in 15 games, White is an amazing player to come off the bench behind Wall. Both his career high in minutes (13) and points (14) came in the win against Atlanta Hawks. He shot 75% (6-8) from the field, while recording 2-4 buckets from the line. He may be young, but he will flourish.
Aaron Powers - #40
Charlotte Bobcats
15GP, 9MPG, 4PPG, 2.1RPG, .512FG%, .684FT%
Report: Tied his career high of 9 points twice (L against Philly, L against Brooklyn) and both times shooting 4-5 from the field and 1-2 from the line. The bad news is that he plays in the same position as MKG, but on the bright side, he made his only other competition, Jeff Taylor, request a trade due to lack of minutes. Expect him to make the Rising Stars.
Alonzo Reyes - #18
Milwaukee Bucks
16GP, 10MPG, 5PPG, 2.2APG, .857-3PT%, .800FT%
Report: The Good: Out-playing Udrih ; The Bad: As long as Jennings is on the team, expect Reyes to stay a backup. Milwaukee ended up trading a Point Guard they picked up in the 2nd round to Orlando, just because they knew they could count on Reyes. With a win against the Clippers, Reyes recorded his career best in minutes (11) and Points (11). He shot 5-8 from the field, and one from the line.Comment

@BDean27: Not too bad so far. Rookie of the month in November is impressive though.Comment

Re: Nuka's C.A.P - The Journey Begins
December Update:
Trades:
Pistons trade: Nate Robinson, '14 2nd round pick
Hawks trade: Jeff Teague
Kings trade: '14 2nd round pick, Travis Outlaw
Jazz trade: Kenyon Martin, '15 2nd round pick
Rookie Report
Danny Papluka - #20:
Boston Celtics
November: 15GP, 5.5PPG, 2.8RPG, 1.5APG, .465FG%
December: 14GP, 9PPG, 4.5RPG, 1.2APG, 1.1SPG, .500FG%, .667FT%
Report: Papluka received rookie of the month after putting on an impressive month. Previously, his record was 11 points. He broke that record last night against the Warriors, scoring 21 and going 80% (8-10) from the field, sinking also 5-6 from the free throw line. So far, he is currently 3rd in the "Rookie Of The Year" nomination.
*Jimmie Stafford - #9:
New Orleans Hornets
November: 17GP, 3.6PPG, 3.5RPG, .545FG%, .571FT%
December: 15GP, 3.8PPG, 3.5RPG, .378FG%Report: Still at a career high of 10 points, the Hornets are scratching their heads wondering when Jimmie will spread his wings. (I wrote Jamie for the longest time, just realized-_-). He is still averaging 9 minutes per game, sharing playing time with Lance Thomas
Christian Carter - #9
Sacramento Kings
November: 16GP, 4.4PPG, 1.5RPG, 2.6APG, .500FG%, 1.000-3PT%, .889FT%
December: 14GP, 4.5PPG, 1.1RPG, 1.7APG, .556FG%, .500-3PT%, .923FT%
Report: Carter has improved slightly over this month, and has impressed not only himself, but the coach too. The 2nd over all pick has been playing to his full potential, increasing his shooting %.
James Kemmerer - #30
Orlando Magic
November: 14GP, 10PPG, 2.4RPG, 2.1APG, .436FG%, .500-3PT%, .333FT%
December: 15GP, 4.1PPG, 2.2RPG, 2.0APG, .500FT%,
Report: 5th in the "Rookie Of The Year" nomination, he sure is "bringing magic to Orlando". His competition on the team is Aaron Afflalo, and E'Twaun Moore. With Nelson being out day-to-day, Kemmerer is seeing more playing time, as Moore is starting Point Guard.
D'Brickashaw Leonard - #33
Dallas Mavericks
14GP, 9MPG, 2.7PPPG, .545FG%
Report: After a controversial twitter message reading "@DBRICK All yall teams that pass on me gonna be mad in 10 years doe. #HatersHate I ball hard and i get to play with my boy @Dirk_Mavs. #HoldMyDirk", he has everyone amp'd up after not only calling out other players, but teams and GM's.. He hasn't been living up to his full potential, only having a season and career high of 8 points and 5 assists. Unless he improves, expect him to stay backup.
Omuis Gobbledegook - #69
Detroit Pistons
November: 16GP, 8MPG, 2.3PPG, 2.1RPG, 2.1APG, .520FG%, .733FT%
December: 13GP, 2.6PPG, 2.2RPG, 1.4APG, .500FG%, .500FT%
Report: Playing for a winner isn't important for the big man Gobbledegook. Averaging 8 minutes per game, he is known for his passing ability. Its rare that a 7'4 Center can handle the ball so well. Infact, he impressed the coach so much, that he gets a few more minutes that Drummond. "We love Gobbledegook, or GDG as well call him" chuckled the GM, "Only problem is he loves to party, coming to practice hungover and yelling 'YOLO'"
Brandon Dean - #27
Toronto Raptors
November: 17GP, 19MPG, 12PPG, 3.3APG, .730FT%
December: 14GP, 11.6PPG, 2.9RPG, 3.4APG
Report: Dean is slowly turning into a superstar, and will most definatly pass Lowry for the starting spot on the Raptors. He is currently 1st in the "6th Man Of The Year" nomination and 2nd in the "Rookie Of The Year" nomination. He reached a new career high in the win against Aaron Powers and the Bobcats yesterday, scoring 23. He was quoted as "Upset isn't a word to describe how Brandon is feeling, but neither is Happy"
Noah Jackson - #35
Portland Trail Blazers
November: 17GS, 17GP, 32MPG, 6PPG, 8RPG, .505FG%, .685FT%
December: 15GS, 15GP, 12.8PPG, 6.6RPG, 3.6APG
Report: Still having a career high of 26, Jackson also recieved rookie of the month again and Jackson is hot as ever. He is a possible All-Star and 1st in "Rookie Of The Year" nomination. He has been shooting poorly in December, only at .486%
Jake White - #22
Washington Wizards
November: 15GP, 9MPG, 4.6PPG, 1.2RPG, 2.6APG, .733FT%
December: 15GP, 4.1PPG, 1.4RPG, 2.1APG
Report: White is currently 4th in the "Rookie Of The Year" Nomination, and has 5 fouls in 31 games. He is not known as an aggressive player, but he still gets the job done. What he lacks in points, he gained in rebounds.
Aaron Powers - #40
Charlotte Bobcats
November: 15GP, 9MPG, 4PPG, 2.1RPG, .512FG%, .684FT%
December: 16GP, 3.8PPG, 2.0RPB, 1.000FT%
Report: Great news for Powers. The battle between MKG and him ended. After taking a spill from a dunk, MKG left the game with a broken arm and is out for 2-4 weeks. Powers now has a shot to prove just how well he can preform. Not only that, but he is the only rookie shooting 100% from the free throw line in December.
Alonzo Reyes - #18
Milwaukee Bucks
November: 16GP, 10MPG, 5PPG, 2.2APG, .857-3PT%, .800FT%
December: 16GP, 4.0PPG, 2.6APG, .813FT%
Report: Beating his 11 minute career high, he now is at 17. Only able to score 8 points, going 100% from the 3 point line, he still lacks scoring power. On the plus side, he is averaging 4 minutes more playing time then Udrih.
