Re: It's gotta be our year Eventually: Bobcats Association

The Good, The Questionable, and the Risky

      Good

Pacers - Star SG Roger Fox fell to Indiana at #3, Him and Paul George will make a great duo.

Wizards - The Wizards traded pick #14 for SF Mason Sweetney. They essentially got a top 5 prospect with pick #14.

Heat - Wallace Hart was a great pickup at #28. Hart is a great rebounder that should have been a top 20 pick.

Celtics - The Celtics got very lucky when SG Mike Fordham fell to them at #12. He will help Rondo and Green ease into the rebuilding process when Pierce and Garnett retire.

      Questionable

Raptors - First they drafted Mason Sweetney at #6 which could've been a steal. Then they traded him for pick #15 and took SG Hawkeem Freeman, still great value at his position. Then they trade him for the 24th pick and a future second. What were they doing?!

Hornets - Drafting Ramon Uwawah at number 1 is a puzzler. Why would you take a big man that can't produce anything on offense when you already have a player just like that in Anthony Davis? They should've picked SG Roger Fox AKA Kobe JR. and traded Eric Gordon. it's not like Gordon wants to play their anyway.

      Risky

Bobcats - They traded a second rounder, a player with some potential in Jeff Taylor, and a future 1st round pick(Probably a pretty high pick) so they could draft a drugee. That's right, C Rambo Hightower is infamous for slapping a little girl in the face with a plastic fish after he smoked some dope. On the bright side he has a 39 inch vertical and can dunk over big men for days. He is also only 19. He is the closest thing to JaVale McGee's twin. If he can get his head right and polish his game he can be a star in the NBA.

Blazer - Sure Kenny Caballero is a great player but taking SG Roger Fox would've been a better pick at #2 for them. They already have a star PG in Damian Lillard. However, if Lillard and Caballero can play together they can form a dangerous duo.

                            Bobcats Trade Thomas

The Bobcats have traded PF Tyrus Thomas to the Kings for SF Richard Jefferson. Thomas has 2 years and 18 million left on his contract and Jefferson has 1 year and 11 million. The trade is good for the Kings because THomas is the better player and he gets paid less than Jefferson. The trade is good for the Bobcats because next offseason Jeffersons contract will expire and they will have a lot more cap space. Charlotte wasn't looking for talent here, they were looking to clear cap space. If things go as projected the Bobcats should have around 50 million dollars free in cap space next offseason.

I'm planning on only playing a game or two a month until the team is better. I will give a monthly updates. I will give the power rankings monthly and the league leaders every 2 months or so.
