Alright these were the sign ups I requested a while back and for some reason I never got around to merging them with Kane's high school career. But if you 'like' this post (confirming that you're still here) I will add your player into the college stage and since the deadline to create the recruits already past, you can choose what college you want to attend.
I am also still accepting sign ups if anybody else wants to get in this.

EDIT: These players will not end in college btw, you have full control over them so you'll be able to decide if you want them to transfer, enter the draft, negotiate contacts etc.Last edited by beast10; 04-03-2014, 03:32 PM.Comment

Re: "A Look in My Eyes" - Journey Of 5'4" Guard Michael Kane
August 5th, 2017
I had a long day, fun to say the least. That was how the majority of my summer had been . . . Living it up with my friends at any parties we could find all night until we would all depart in college this fall. It was only too bad that it was on its verge to coming to an end sooner than later.
Now, I found myself still wide awake after I surfaced deep in thought about how it would life would turn out at Ohio State. After texting Natalie until she fell asleep I decided to get out of the bed and head out in the backyard and take a couple of shots on the basket. I hadn't done that in the while . . .
It was a dark setting, the crickets were chirping just like they would on the typical 2:00 AM night. I took a couple dribbles and pulled up at were the free throw line would be on a regulation court. It was the same shot that costed my AAU team our national championship run in the third round this year. It clanked just like it had once did, I had grown to hate that shot with a passion . . . As I set up for another move I randomly began to reminisce on that kid from way back who I used to ball with out here . . . Markel, that was his name. After he moved away I never heard from him again, he was a pain but he sure could ball. I wondered how he was doing.
I regained my focus towards the hoop and continued to practice in the slow pace form. Then I heard the sliding door open from the house; it was dad. "What are you doing out here?" he said, clearly angered. "It's two in the morning, Mike!"
I understood his anger considering the window in his room faced the backyard and it was open at that. "Couldn't sleep so I came out here to shoot." I said as I shot a floater.
"Save it for OSU, get some sleep.” he began to re-enter the house but stopped and stepped back out as if he recalled something. “Oh yeah, Is there something you want to tell me, son?”
“Uh, I don’t think so?” I think I knew exactly what he was talking about. The mistake of a hangover that would potentially ruin any high ambitions beyond high school for somebody . . . Natalie was pregnant. I guess her parents talked with my dad or something.
"Alright." He proceeded and walked back into the house and I did the same as I wrapped up with a couple fadeaway jumpers.Last edited by beast10; 05-22-2014, 12:23 AM.Comment
