gonna have to cut this off for a while. I thought I'd be able to progress during break but I haven't really been at home a lot and school is going to be more of a priority going into the second semester.

Draak Davis equals Jerry Rice's long standing record
BOX SCORE 1 2 3 4 OT T #6 Florida (4-1) 7 17 7 10 - 41 Kentucky (4-2) 7 0 7 7 - 21
Draak Davis, who began the season as Kentucky's No.1 running back, equalled the record held by Jerry Rice for the most receptions in a game with 24.
The senior has been a welcome surprise for the receiving corps this year, and fittingly equalled the record with his only touchdown catch of the game with just two minutes remaining.
Woodson was shaken up late in the fourth quarter and was taken out for a precaution. His backup, Dan Lumley, was perfect with his six throws, his final one coming on Davis' record equalling catch.
Fullback Alexis Bwenge was lost earlier in the game after a clash of heads. Early reports state he should be fine when the Wildcats travel to South Carolina in two weeks time to meet the Gamecocks.

Re: "A Look in My Eyes" - Journey Of 5'4" Guard Michael Kane
April 15th, 2017
"Hello community thank you for coming out for this occasion, today one of our own Knights, who's made just about everybody proud in this Dayton community, will be making his college commitment and will be signing his national letter of intent making his say today official to the world. Crowd, please welcome senior Michael Kane!"
I walked up to the podium, flashing a bold smile at the audience who cheered for me as the attention shifted towards me. I was nervous about today but I just wanted to get it off my back.
"Good afternoon everybody, thanks you all for taking the time out of your day to support me here at my today's college signing. I appreciate the ride I've gotten here at Polk, it's been some great years and I've met a lot of great player and teammates on the way. I want to thank everybody who helped me through my journey, I really couldn't have done it without you, especially coach and my father because I remember like it was yesterday that I was riding the bench on the freshmen year just a couple years ago and to be here, standing at this podium about to sign with a division one college basketball team is just amazing and I once again thank you all." I stared at all my friends and family that surrounded me at Polk as they began clapping and cheering for me.
"I also want to include my mom who is watching this from up above, without her I would've never really had the motivation to strive in what I loved to do. It's been one of the goals I've set to make her proud and dedicate each and every game I played to her. As a young child up until where she no longer could attend my games I always recalled her being in the stands watching me but for the past three years that's no longer been the case but still she's been in my heart for the entire ride and that'll continue throughout the years to come. But before I conclude, I've got a guest who's also been a huge inspiration for me, Troy Monroe."
I began to think of the long road I've came to stardom as he walked up and took my spot at the podium . . . I was now the number 9 prospect in the nation and #1 at my position. This year had been a ball for me, I'd averaged 28 points, and 7 assists but the greatest thing of it all is that at the end of our season we celebrated another state championship.
"I'd like to really congratulate Mike on this great journey he's had here at Polk. Unfortunately I haven't been able to enjoy the success with him for the last two years due to graduation but the one year I did have as a teammate with Mike was great and we had a great deal of success. We weren't really close at the start of the season but as it progressed he began to seem like another little brother for me . . . I want to tell you [Michael] that college is going to be a little tough, you gotta really commit yourself to achievement because you're going to have classes, workouts, practices, and may still want a good social life so you really gotta balance everything but also keep your head on straight. But yeah, it's life, I know you can handle it so once again congrats on all the success and I hope you'll have a great career at Ohio State filling in my footsteps haha."
I clapped along with everyone else but then went into thought, It seemed as if this was a graduation but it wasn't, I still had a month of school left but I was moving on to the next level; away from all my friends here in Dayton. I was only an hour away but I still wondered if I'd ever see these guys again.
I then glared at the four hats that I had set up on the table, Ohio State, TCU, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Mr. Gladdin, our athletic director, regain the attention at the podium as I sat at the table awaiting him to lead me to my decision.
"So for what we've been waiting for, Michael will be making it official." He said; at this point all eyes were on me.
"After longs nights, just thinking about what my next move would be . . . Me along with my family and friends have come to a conclusion that . . . Ohio State is where I'll be playing at next season."
I raised the Ohio State hat with pride and placed it on my head just before I began filling out the letter of intent while taking in the crowds thunderous cheering . . . I was officially a Buckeye.
Editors Note
Bringing this dynasty back because I want to get into college hoops already lol. As you can see, there has been a huge time advance in the story line and he is now finishing his senior year up after winning the state championship again at Polk.Last edited by beast10; 02-17-2014, 05:43 PM.Comment

Re: "A Look in My Eyes" - Journey Of 5'4" Guard Michael Kane
So glad to see this make a comeback. I wonder what has happened in the last few years... But more so, I wonder what his college kid will bring. Is Troy in the NBA yet? Or did he stick around at OSU longer then expected? And how's the Malik v. Mike rivalry gone? I'm assuming Malik went to Michigan as that would be appropriate. Can't wait for more.Comment
