Bio: Adam is an elite athlete from Lower East Side, Manhattan, and he can flat out ball. In his senior year of high school he led his high school to the state champs, averaging 27 points, 7 assists, and 9 rebounds. He brings back memories of John Wall (who by the way goes on to be one of the best point guards ever in this reality) with his blazing speed and killer athleticism in an NBA frame. He is a big point guard, at 6'7". He has gotten national recognition unlike any basketball player in a long time. Sports Illustrated had him on the cover with the Headline, "The NBA's Savior: Adam Cameron." He will likely be drafted by the NBA and by the EBA, who holds their draft in Mid April, and has said he will play for both leagues, in each others offseason.

Cameron grew up loving the Knicks, and Syracuse. He dominated his freshman season as a member of the Orange, averaging 23.3 PPG, a country-leading 9.1 assists a game, and 6.7 rebounds a game. He doesn't have a great jumper but can hit the mid range when he has the space. A spectacular finisher, and great floor general, he has a bright future, but also has huge expectations to live up to as the next superstar, and bringing professional basketball back to its former glory.

Bio: The raw, athletic wing from Detroit, Julius Goodwin is imposing. Growing up in the nicer side of the city, Goodwin was a superstar for the local AAU team, and also in High School. He averaged 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists in his senior year while playing alongside another star wing, Andrell Anderson. In his first year at Michigan State, he and the Spartans made a final four run, which was shut down by North Carolina, who went on to win the National Championship. He got plenty of playing time, and performed well, but not as good as expectations. He averaged 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals with 1 assist in his freshman season but looked raw out there. He improved in his sophomore season but still never looked like the superstar he was supposed to be, and was overshadowed by his point guard, Raymond Bradford, who stayed in school for four years and is looking a potential NBA draft selection, but it is questionable due to a murder case that he was acquitted for, so that is a big red flag. The Spartans were cut off again by UNC, who repeated as National Title winners. Goodwin averaged 16 points, 10 boards, and 4 assists. He hurt his calf in the final game of his sophomore year, but unwisely declared for the NBA draft anyway. He went undrafted, and went overseas to play in Spain for 2 seasons. In his first season he was buried on the depth chart, and only averaged 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. His second year he broke out with former high school teammate Andrell Anderson, who he won 3 state titles with. He averaged 14.8 points, 11.3 boards, and 5 assists with 3 steals in his second year in Spain.

              Play Initiator: No
Bio: Growing up in Raleigh as a Tar Heels fan, it was clear from the day he hit the court he was special. He was always the biggest, the strongest guy out there in his younger years and began to garner attention in 8th grade, when he made waves for being a dominant big with an even bigger future. He had a great basketball career in college, winning 2 state titles in a row before heading to Chapel Hill. In his senior year, he averaged a dominant 25 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 Blocks, and 2 steals. He was the 3rd rated prospect in the country that year for recruiting. At Chapel Hill, he became enamored with the college atmosphere, and the success he had, and ended up staying four years even if he could have been a top pick in the NBA had he left early. He claimed he "had no interest" in the NBA, because the league was just a shell of its former glory and headed for a collapse. While at UNC, he became one of the greatest players in all of college basketball's rich history. He won a national championship in his freshman season, knocking off Julius Goodwin's Spartans in the Final four and beating out UCLA's Justin Darlington III-led Bruins in the championship game. He averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 assists in his first year. His sophomore season was a repeat performance, knocking off Goodwin's Spartans in the final four again, and this time beating then freshman Dre Douglas's Villanova squad in the Championship. He averaged 22.3 PPG, 14.1 RPG, 4.4 APG, and 2.1 BPG as a sophomore. In his Junior year, the Tar Heels failed to make it back to the title game, losing in the final four to the University of Oregon. He put up a 21-13-4-2 season as a junior. He came back his senior year and was dominant en route to his third title. He beat sophomore Adam Hamilton's Wake Forest squad 71-56. He averaged country leading 29 points and 17 rebounds with 5 assists and 4 blocks. He decided to skip out on the draft, and prior to the EBA's announcement, he was set to play in Italy this season. But the EBA is trying to court him to come to their league, and if they are successful, that would be a major win and a bigger blow to the NBA.

Bio: Justin Darlington is a dunker by trade, and it runs in his blood. The grandson of legendary dunker, Justin "Jus' Fly" Darlington I, and son former dunk contest champion Justin Darlington II, Darlington III has lineage in the dunk, and he may be the greatest of them all. One time in a street ball game, he got a steal and took it back, then did self-oop a cartwheel dunk in-game! He was an athletic freak dating back to high school at Malibu Prep, and it put UCLA on notice. He enrolled at UCLA and was an impact player from day one. His thunderous slams were unmatched at the college or any other level, and his speed and quick handles made every defense he faced mincemeat. In his freshman season, he made the elite 8 before being knocked out of the tournament. He averaged 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists his first year. Sophomore year was sweet 16 and out the door, averaging 15-4-3. But he managed to break through in his junior season, averaging 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists en route to an NCAA championship berth in a loss to North Carolina and then-freshman Kurtis Holden. His senior year came and went with a tourney birth and out in the sweet 16 again, and he averaged 19 points, 6 boards, and 5 assists. The NBA though he was to much of a one trick pony, relying only on dribble penetration and fast breaks to score, while being a poor passer and defensive liability, so he never got a shot in the big leagues. He headed for the black top, where he made his name as a street ball phenom and professional dunker. Now, with the EBA on the rise as a new league in need of some highlight reel talent, there's a chance someone could come a'calling for JD3's talents.

Re: Time To Shake Things Up: A New Breed Of Dynasty: Discussion Thread

Okay guys, so I wanna get something hashed out now. Season Structure. I've already decided that the league's season will have to take place in the offseason of the NBA. Which means we have from Mid June to Late October, or 4 months. And then we have to include that the playoffs take up from early september to early october most likely, because it is going to be like one week per round. This leaves three months to get whatever season we can in. How many games can we get in in two and a half to three months? And do we have an All star game? When would it be? What type of content do will fill the offseason with, since it will be so long? How do we handle Olympians from our league since the summer games will take place at the same time as the season. How many games do you get in division, in conference, and out of conference? I'd like to hear your thoughts on these topics.

Here's my idea, but I want to hear yours as well:

there is going to be, giver or take, 136 days from game 7 of the finals to the tip off of the next year. If we assume that each playoff series is a best of 5 where it goes 5 games(shorter playoff series are more high pressure, could be more fun, and will make the season longer), and you need 9 days since there would be no bcd to backs, 36 of those days are committed to to the postseason. That leaves us with 100 days. Lets assume we have an all-star break lasting 4 days. 96 days left. a 5 day break between regular season and playoffs. 91 days. We have a 91 day regular season. We have 30 teams. We have 5 teams in each division. What I propose is that each team play every team at least twice. Thats gives us 58 games. Then an extra two for each team in the division. 8 more games. 66 total. then and extra one for the other 10 teams in the conference not in the division. 76 games. Thats probably too much. What we would have to make it so you play each team in the division 4 times. Thats 24 games. Then you have a home-and home with the other 10 teams. 34 games. Then you also have a home and home with one division from the other conference, which rotates every year, so you would play each division from the other conference twice a season, every 3 seasons. Season 1, 4, 7 and so on. Season 2, 5, 8, and so on. Season 3, 6, 9, and so on. 44 games a season. 91 days. We can fit that in without any back to backs. One game every other day gets us to 88 days. Or we can have back to bcd, followed by two day breaks for some teams so the scheduling would be more flexible and we can have multiple games every one of those 88 days and even a primetime game that is nationally broadcast (which will bring me to my next topic, but I will hold off on that). We can then expand the all-star break for more events, or we can expand the pause between the regular season and playoffs. Or the three days could be prior to the season and we can leave a few days off between the NBA finals and our season starting.

Also, TV deals. How should the games be broadcast? Are they all regional, all the time, with maybe one national game a night? Do we have it all online? Do we have a network for the EBA?

And for the all-star break (if we decide to have one) what are we doing? Is it dunk contest-three point-all star? Do you have any other ideas for other events? Are the teams conferenced? Do we avoid conference imbalance like the NBA has now by making it unconferenced? How are teams selected? How are individuals selected? Does the result matter? Does it affect anything? IS there going to be monetary incentive? How Much?

These are some questions I'm leaving out for you guys to get the brainstorming ball rolling.

                    On TV channels/broadcasting.
I say we sign a major deal ESPN 8 "the Ocho" to broadcast as many games as possible.
I also believe that maybe we have a EBA vs NBA Superfinal every two years. The EBA champion plays the NBA champion. For the allstar weekend we have a dunk contest and the Allstar game only.

ESPN 8: The Ocho, now featuring, a senile Chad Johnson as its lead host. lol

I have a plan for an NBA/EBA champ game, but for the first year only, and its for a different reason. The Superfinal idea is cool, but when would it be? The end of one season is the start of the next for each league, so you couldn't say when it would be the right time.

All star weekend is 4 days long probably. Is there any other content we could put in that time? I don't think there will be trades or free agency the first few seasons so there is no need for a trade deadline by the way, so that couldn't be in all star weekend.

So, I've decided to take it upon myself to connect the dots between the prospects, since my backstories connected them when I described the careers of my players in college.

UNC had a dominant four year stretch where they won 3 of 4 national championships in the 4 years that Kurtis Holden was in Chapel Hill. He beat out Julius Goodwin's Michigan State squads twice in those four years, and in his freshman season, defeated UCLA and there dominant back-court tandem of Justin Darlington III and Alexandre Nash (created by OS user Dodar) in the National Championship game. In the second year they went on to beat the freshman stud, Dre Douglas, and his upstart Villanova squad. Nash moved on to the And 1 circuit from UCLA after his second year, and Darlington III did as well after his second year. Goodwin went off to Euro Ball. The next year was not a successful for Holden, he was knocked out in the Final 4, by Oregon. They had just beaten the Butler squad led by Jay Greyvenstein, who would later be kicked off of Butler and now is waiting for a shot at redemption in the upstart EBA, in the Elite 8. Freshman SF Adam Hamilton had started to make waves at Wake Forest, but they were shut down in the Sweet 16 by the eventual National Championship runner-up Kentucky, who beat in-state rival Louisville and Junior Guard Joey Martin in the Elite 8, led by Sophomore shooting guard Andrell Anderson. Indiana State made a Cinderella run to the Sweet 16 before being shut down by Butler. Indiana State was led by 5'9" point guard Earl Carter, who was looking like a figure skater throughout the tournament with the way he put defenders on skates. Raymond Bradford stayed at MSU even after Julius Goodwin had moved on. He led them to an Elite 8 berth before losing to Duke, who would lose to Kentucky in the final four. Duke would regroup after bringing in dynamic foreign wing Terri Rudi of Scotland. They would make the tournament and be out in the sweet 16. Dominant high school star Adam Cameron joined Syracuse, who went on to go to the Elite 8 before being cut off by Sophomore Adam Hamilton and the Demon Deacons, who would go on to beat Junior Guard Dre Douglas' Villanova team in the Final 4 and lose to UNC for the National Title. Joey Martin burst onto the scene as a senior after the Elite 8 berth las season, but it was to no avail as they did not qualify for the tournament due to the lack of talent around him as 6 seniors graduated prior to the year. Kentucky Fell apart after Andrell left to join former high school teammate Julius Goodwin in Spain, where they combined to win the Spanish National championship for Barcelona, then they were selected to the National team where they tore through the Euro Ball tournament and won the Euroleague title for Spain.

I think that just about covers it. Any questions?

                              I'm editing in Joey Martin.
