    A Fresh Start - CH2K8 Legacy

Southern Utah University announced the recent hiring of Coach Corey Haas. The 30 year old spent three years coaching high school basketball in his home state of Wisconsin. He won 70% of his games there and captured back state titles. He spent two seasons at the D2 level with Wisconsin-Parkside. After a verbal altercation with the AD there he was subsequently fired. Thus allowing the Southern Utah Thunderbirds to land the out spoken coach. Southern Utah has had one tournament appearance all time - in which they lost. Both the university and Coach Haas are both looking for fresh starts.

Weird that you pick UW-Parkside. I go there.

15 minute halves. Same sliders as super James with some tweaks. In case people were wondering.

Booo. 20 minute halves is where it's at!

I sometimes wish I would switch back to 15-16 minute halves, but as a bit of a stat whore, getting realistic MPG stats is insatiable these days, LMAO.

BTW, I did a short legacy with SUU in CH 2K7. I remember taking them to the NIT in the first year, though I don't remember much more aside from that. Maybe I never got further until CH 2K8 came out.

Well I run 14 minutes, but that is also because I jack up 20-30 3's every game and would hate to see what my score would be playing 20 minute halves.

Maybe one day I will start a new thread with a team that doesn't shoot the 3 so well and then maybe I could try 20 min halves.

I play Winston Salem state right away. May have to go 20 minutes after that game.

The good news is expectations are not very high in Southern Utah. IRL, they went 2-27 Overall and 1-19 in the Big Sky.

Maybe your team will fair better being how they are still in the Summit in the game.

At least your team has some height.

Your roster is missing alot of players from real life. Wonder if the person got tired when it came to the small schools.

Base on how they played IRL, Hess was one their best players averaging 9.3 PPG and 4.0 RPG well shooting 38% from 3pt.

I was gonna create them but decided it wasn't worth it. That kid from cornell I told u about, he's a sophomore on the game but a junior irl. SUU has a lotta guards on their actual team lol
