Knew with LeBron back the Cavs would beat me, but two very winnable games dropped to the Knicks and Orlando and then the Nets. This is how I feel right now

Hoping to take these last two agains the Celts and Sixers. Knicks have Hawks/Pistons and Pacers have Grizz/Wizards, so I'm hoping at least one of them drops a game and I'm in! Fingers crossed.

Milwaukee Picks Up Must Need Win

The Greek Freak sinks the floater with 5.7 seconds left in the game

Philadelphia, PA -- In a must win game for Milwaukee, the Philadelphia 76ers had their eye on the upset. They played their best, but the Bucks stole it away in the final minutes.

Two teams that looked very different to start the season met for the second to last game of the season for the both of them. The 76ers, now with Brandon Knight, Ersan Ilyasova and Zaza Pachulia; and the Bucks now with Michael Carter-Williams and Nerlens Noel, battled to the final minutes.

To start the game, Knight came out with something to prove. He scored the teams first 10 points on his way to a 25 point outing. He was finally able to get some help from his team mates as the Sixers stretched their lead to 11 by halftime.

Milwaukee just came out flat. They lacked luster and hustle. Philly out rebounded them in the first three quarters by fifteen, and by the end of the game, that gap would only be three.

In the fourth quarter, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker began to dominate the paint. Zaza and Ilyasova couldn't stop them, as Milwaukee inched closer and closer.

With the game going back and forth, Milwaukee was able to snag the lead, going up 107-105 with under 20 seconds left.

Knight got the ball, drove, and missed the layup. Larry Sanders grabbed the rebound and sent it in transition to Carter-Williams. Before he could be fouled he passed the ball up to Antetokounmpo who hit a beautiful floater over Ilyasova with 5.7 seconds on the clock.

Philly would miss their last three point attempt and Milwaukee picked up the huge win to put them back into 8th place ahead of the New York Knicks who fell to the Atlanta Hawks.

With one game remaining, the Bucks can only seal their fate and a spot in the playoffs by beating the Boston Celtics who downed the Bucks in Boston, 104-91 on April 3rd.

Bucks Secure Playoff Birth With Win!

Michael-Carter Williams hits the clutch 3pt shot late in the game

Milwaukee, WI -- The Milwaukee Bucks wanted to make sure that every elderly person's pace maker was working tonight as they clinched their playoff birth in a thriller.

Boston came into the Bradley Center with one mission in mind: keep the Bucks out of the playoffs. Despite an amazing effort, they were unable to do so.

It was a low scoring, defensive basketball game from start to finish. Rajon Rondo and the Celtics were able to battle against strong offensive play from O.J. Mayo and Khris Middleton, keeping everyone else on the Bucks roster in single digits in the first half. If not for 32 points from the two, this game would have gotten out of hand early.

In the second half, Jared Sullinger gave Jabari Parker a reason to take a hard look at his defensive game. He shot 7/11 and put on a clinic. The Bucks had to sacrifice Parker's offense for Nerlen Noel's defensive ability, and Sullinger missed his last four shot attempts of the game because of this change.

In the closing minute, with the game tied 85-85, Giannis Antetokounmpo found MCW open on the fast break for a wide open three. He would sink the shot despite his 29% from downtown this season.

Neither team would score again after some great defense, and Milwaukee held on to win 88-85.

With this win, the Bucks secured the 7 seed as the Pacers and Knicks lost their last two games of the season.

Box Score: I played the last two games, and forgot to take screen shots of the box scores and can't go back and get them.

Bucks Stun Heat In Game One

Wade shows his frustration with a late call

Miami, FL -- The #2 seed Miami Heat have fallen to the #7 seed Milwaukee Bucks tonight in a game that was dominated by Milwaukee for the most part.

Following a season where the Heat had the "Big 3", not many anticipated seeing them highly seeded in the playoffs, let along making it at all. But low and behold, they found their way to a two seed while LeBron and his Cavaliers are seeded fifth.

Coming into the game, most experts had Miami slotted to take game one and the series, many predicting a 4-1 finish, some even a sweep. That may be what fueled the Bucks fire as they came out with a point to prove.

Milwaukee started the game with a 7-2 run, and fought to hold that lead. With great defense from their guards Mayo and MCW, they shut down Wade and Deng to only 2 points in the first. The Bucks' guards would combine for 6 steals in the game as Milwaukee had a 26-19 lead ending the first.

After a very defensive low scoring second quarter, both teams entered the half with the score 45-35 in Milwaukee's favor.

"We knew if we wanted to steal this first game, we'd have to come right out and punch them in the mouth, and we did that" said head coach Jason Kidd, who is currently being commended for his great coaching this season.

The second half was a bit of a different story. With Wade finding the bottom of the net, and great support from McRoberts and Napier, Miami came storming back. Milwaukee's guards were able to to great some great help from Jabari Parker in the second half. After a quiet first half, he came out and dropped 18 points in the third and fourth quarters, and he finished with 26.

Heading into the fourth, the score was in Milwaukee's favor 67-61. Miami would not let this game go without a fight. Both teams battled back and forth, but Milwaukee got a huge boost from recently acquired guard Isaiah Canaan who would knock down three 3-point shots in the fourth, all at crucial moments.

In the closing 30 seconds, Miami trailed by two points. On a strong drive, Jabari Parker drew a foul and went to the free throw line to extend the game to two possessions. He would sink both free throws despite an insane amount of pressure from the crowd and the moment itself.

Miami then got the ball back. They gave it to Wade, and he sized up Mayo. With the clock ticking down, he took a step back three point shot, but it clanked off the rim. Scrambling at this point, Chris Bosh somehow comes up with the rebound and kicked it to Josh McRoberts. He jacked up the three over Parker, and sank it with 3.6 seconds on the clock to close the game to one point.

Milwaukee inbounded up court to an open Antetokounmpo, and there were no Heat players close enough to foul, and the Bucks went on to win game one by a score of 97-96.

The Bucks stay in Miami to take the Heat on again for game two. When asked about the next matchup, Wade had this to say: "They played hard, but next game, I promise you, we're gonna to play harder."
