Magic Johnson on his Lakers progress: "I think we're right on schedule with where we'd like to see our progress. We're currently sitting at .500 and we just got DeMarcus [Cousins] back. Luke wants to bring him along slowly bringing him off of the bench for a while but we are right where we wanna be. Zo's development is looking good, PG is leading the team everybody is learning their roles. I'm happy with the direction of we're heading in"

Why it's truly 'hot' in Phoenix: The Phoenix Suns are the hottest team in the NBA right now riding a 9-game winning streak following their 4-game losing streak. Devin Booker is certainly leading this team offensively albeit hurt for the next couple of games. But the true story of this team has been #1 pick DeAndre Ayton and his impact in the middle. His presence has allowed Coach Kokoskov to try some interesting lineups and strategies defensively. Contributions have been made by everyone on the team and the Suns look to be finally developing an identity... that includes defense.

What the Sixers have been missing: The Sixers got F Robert Covington back in the lineup for his first game in a month. Coach Brown has put him back int the starting lineup moving Bogdanovic back to the bench along with JJ Redick. "This will be big for our defense. I think a lot of people underestimate the impact that he has on our team" said F Ben Simmons.

Are the Warriors a forgotten powerhouse: When you think of a sleeper team, you don't think of the recent dynasty in the Golden State Warriors, but... they have quietly won their last 9 games with Curry, Klay, Iggy & other key contributors in & out of the lineup. While everyone is talking about the Cavs and the Suns, Golden State has beat Toronto, Indian, Boston and Houston and have the best record in the league.

Jalen Rose thinks that the Rockets couldn't be further from repeating: "Houston continues to struggle at 6-10 coming off of their NBA championship season. James harden is doing everything for the team, leading them in scoring and assisting but they are just struggling sdefensively when they need it the most. They look lost in the later moments of the 4th quarter and are sorely lackingup front when Capela is not in the game. The Rockets may not even make the playoffs this season at this rate"

The Thunder finding the right formula for Melo: After being everything but iced out of the offense the first few games of the season and speculation running rampant that Melo wanted out of OKC; Melo has been on fire and the thunder have won 5 of their last 6. Melo is averaging 24 ppg in the month of November and has dropped 30+ 3 times in the past 6 games.

New coach, same results in The 6: The rumor around Toronto is that the Raptors never needed Dwane Casey. This point has been made evident by the quick start and cohesion brought by new head coach Dreece Williams. Yes the Raptors have been overhauled with a new crop of talent but Coach Dreece has found great chemistry after their season-opening beat down from the Cavs. The Raps are playing fast and furious (leaving Jonas Valanciunas in a bad spot) but leaving the Raptors to an 11-5 start.

Kenneth Luckett reports on the Nuggets: Coach Malone plans to play Wilson Chandler more at PF with injuries to Paul Millsap & Trey Lyles. The Nuggets have gone 6-4 over their last 10 when employing his small-ball lineup.

Doc wants more out of Kevin Love: Doc Rivers says that he wants Kevin Love to be far more aggressive. "He's got to remember what it's like to be the leader of a team again and that's something we try to drive home in every practice." The Clippers have also been rumored to be fielding offers for Tobias Harris who has been moved to a bench role with Love now aboard.

Noel Hernandez reports on the Bucks: Ime Udoka has been experimenting with small-ball lineups with Hassan Whiteside out and has he has moved Eric Bledsoe to the bench for the past few games. Insiders suspect that Bledsoe may the odd man out of Udoka's rotation before the season is over in favor of Brandon Jennings.

What's right in Chicago?: It looks like it's been all offense over the past 10 games but it's truly been the defensive effort of Dwight Howard and Kris Dunn down the stretch of games that have made the difference in Chicago.

                        November 26th, 2018

Good evening everyone! I'm Jeremiah Johnson and welcome to Pacers Pre-Game!

Tonight our battle tested Pacers take on our bitter rivals, The Cleveland Cavaliers in an early season contest.

Pacers sit in 3rd in the Eastern Conference behind the #1 seeded Cavaliers and #2 seeded Toronto Raptors. A victory tonight could inch Pacers closer to the 1 or 2 spot in the East.

The Cavs are lead tonight by of course LeBron James who in his last outing against the Los Angeles Clippers finished with 31 points 16 boards only missing 3 shots in the game, only finishing behind Kawhi Leonard's 34 points in the outing. Tonight see's the return to the court of Cavs' Chris Bosh after spending some time out with injury.

The Pacers are coming off a big win against the Utah Jazz where we saw Domantas Sabonis put out 25 points with 9 rebounds followed by former Cavalier, Isiah Thomas who put up 16 points.

Thomas had this to say about the matchup against Cleveland.

IT: "It's sweet revenge, I wasn't well received in Cleveland now its time for me to show them what they missed out on. I owe them one for sure!"

Lance Stephenson also commented about the Cavaliers being labeled as "NBA Finals guarantee" and "Eastern Conference shoe-in favorite"

LS: "The Cavs are good but they damn sure ain't the only team in the East. We've shown that we are just as much a threat as they are. The media has to slow down on crowning them Eastern Conference Champions!"

We expect big time fireworks tonight! Catch the game streaming live from youtube.com/simworldtv . Jeremiah Johnson here for the Indiana Pacers! Cavaliers vs. Pacers next!!!

                            November 27, 2018

Victor Oladipo on teams performance after big loss to Cavaliers: "As a leader of this team, I feel like I didn't do a good enough job getting my teammates involved down the stretch in the second half. We played hard, but sometimes against a team like that, you gotta play smarter. If we plan on beating them down the stretch, we gotta go back to the drawing board."

Jabari Parker on career resurgence in Utah: "Well for once I feel healthy, shoutout to Jazz trainer, Eric Waters and his crew. Those dudes have basically rebuilt me, changed what I put in my body, changed how I work out, work out smarter, not harder. I feel good. Now we gotta start putting these wins together, can't wait til some of our guys get back and we can really gel this team."

Dwayne Wade on helping Dion Waiters: "Man just talking to Dion and helping bro have self confidence in himself, letting him know he has somebody in his corner. Tonight he showed that he wasn't ready to walk away from this game. #TheHeatisOn!"

Jerry Zgoda on Timberwolves ignoring Jimmy Butler on the bench: "Butler returned to traveling with the team and was often overlooked by teammates coming off the floor, he was cheering on the team and teammates avoided high fives and any type of team interaction after last nights win vs. Brooklyn. The drama seems to still be afoot in the Twin Cities!"

Spike Lee on Knicks 41 point win vs. Clippers: "I've watched a ton of Knicks games and we've been on the bad side of some whippin' but tonight was the most cohesive this team has looked in a while and for once Draymond looked excited to get a win!"

Louis Williams on performance in blowout loss: "This was just downright unacceptable. We got to find a rhythm somewhere. Everybody has a bad night but tonight wasn't a bad night tonight was a night where we showed up seeming like we wasn't ready to work! We shot 35 percent from the field as a team along with 20 percent from distance. You can't go through the motions in November bro we are professionals!"

Rumors that Blake Griffin smashed a Pistons assistants tablet after the loss vs. Charlotte: "Word out of the Pistons locker room, Blake was visibly frustrated with the loss and how he performed, an assistant walked to him after media had left and wanted to discuss his shot selection in the game, and Blake let out a sound of frustration and grabbed the tablet and snapped it across his knee!"

Chauncey Billups on Houston historic performance vs. Denver: "Houston is getting wind that the media and fans have dubbed them The Houston Hungover Rockets and have been playing inspired over the last few contests or so. James Harden has strapped the Rocket to his back while awaiting his teammates to join him. 32 points, 15 assists he played like a man possessed. Clint Capela added to the total with a 30-19 night it was just a masterful game to watch from Houston as they are finally starting to look like a squad that wants to defend their title."

Drake comments on Raptors success: "My Raps man, those guys playing like magic man. When was the last time we beat the San Antonio Spurs like that?!! I'm excited the city is excited, Chemistry looking good, added some pieces that have worked out so far, Kyle Lowry is back! Me and Willie Trill gonna take Coach Dreece out to party when the team gets back to the 6! We owe him one!
