Reading that really felt like Steve Smith was right in my ear talking haha. I do agree with them though, Melo's tendency to iso-ball doesn't seem like a great fit, but could provide some good scoring for them coming off the bench.

The Warriors have hit a big slump
Following Saturday's loss to the Pelicans, the Warriors abysmal losing streak continues as they have now lost their last 5 games. With Kevin Durant out with a fractured hand, the Warriors have needed Steph Curry to step up big time, but it just isn't happening. He's sloppy, missing wide open shots that he's known for draining. His confidence has been visibly lackluster and it's something that's beginning to worry a lot of fans.
Curry is currently only averaging 20.5 PPG, a bucket less than Klay Thompson's 22.9 PPG. This has so far been his lowest scoring average since the 2012-2013 season, where he averaged 22.9 PPG. He hasn't looked like the Steph Curry we all know as of late, and he's drawn lots of criticism from fans and teammates alike, most notably with Kevin Durant saying he's "frustrated" that Curry hasn't been playing more aggressively while he's out. This is a very bad trend for a championship caliber team to be on, and if the Warriors don't figure out how to fix it soon, their hopes at winning another ring could be put in serious jeopardy.Last edited by VAWereWolf65; 09-24-2018, 06:32 PM.Comment

Wizards head coach, Scott Brooks on Carmelo Anthony: "Melo just walked in the door ready for business. Even in his first practice he just brought the attitude to the table. I don't know how he felt about other places he's been over the last few years but he seemed to let out all the frustration out on the court tonight. 19 points 15 rebounds is a statement for a guy, from a media standpoint felt like he was past his prime, washed up and bad fit for what we were trying to accomplish here. Well night one is in the books and he has made a great difference this far."
Rumors on Mike Budenholzer being fed up with Dennis Schroder: "Rumor out of Atlanta is that head coach Mike Budenholzer is fed up with Dennis Schroder and his rogue attitude on the court and choosing when to check in and out of games. Sources around the locker room state that after last nights loss to the Kings, that Budenholzer will be possibly benching Schroder until things are settled. Schroder finished the game with 9 points 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 36 minutes."
Thunder forward Blake Griffin on the loss to the Cavs: "I mean, what did you expect, us to really win? I mean no disrespect to our guys but the league is pushing for this team to get over. They are finally somewhat healthy and at full strength again, the refs blew the whistle every time you came within 5 feet of Kawhi or Wayne Ellington. They sent their team to the line 60 times! Come on! If that ain't blatant, I don't know what is. 32-5 and we ain't even at the all star break yet...they have less losses than a team in the NBA has wins. This team is Hollywood as hell, and I hope the NBA with the expansion breaks this Hollywood sh*t up, just ridiculous."
Draymond Green on team winning games in OT and triple double: "Aye I guess we good in extra time. These guys don't like going home til 10-11 oclock at night I guess. Aye as long as we get the W right? As far as the Triple double goes, I played 46 minutes, I didn't even get a chance to hit my gatorade good and I'm back on the floor, I better had got something done tonight!Just a kid from Chicago
