It was a typo in the box score. Team Lebron had 32 points in the second quarter. It’s been changed in the original post.

All around great All Star weekend. Lowry surprised me with his play and Siakam showed off a little of his range, knocking down a couple of contested threes.

Magic Fire Clifford, Hire D'Antoni As Replacement
The Orlando Magic have announced they have relieved head coach Steve Clifford of his duties. The Clifford-led Magic have compiled a subpar 22-35 record this season, consistently performing below expectations. Orlando will hope that a different face at the head of the helm will turn the ship around, announced that they have hired former Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni to be Clifford's replacement. D'Antoni was let go by Houston earlier this season, but his absence from the coaching scene proved to be a short one, as he'll try to miraculously turn the Magic's season around.

              Up Next: Bucks (40-17) @ Raptors (43-14)

The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night in a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals. Giannis Antetokoumpo has played well all season long, posting averages of 28.5 PPG and 12.3 RPG. The Raptors get power forward Serge Ibaka back after an extended period of time as the emphatic forward dealt with back spasms for two weeks. They'll continue to be without Patrick McCaw as he deals with a hyperextended shoulder. The Raptors just recently overtook the Bucks for the first place crown in the Eastern Conference standings, and this game could very well represent another Eastern Conference Finals matchup this season.

The Toronto Raptors have skyrocketed to the top of the NBA standings after a stellar month of February that saw them go 11-1. It was by no means an easy month for the team, who fought through injuries to Serge Ibaka and Patrick McCaw to take big wins over the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.

Kyle Lowry has continued his elite level of play, and Pascal Siakam has yet to disappoint as the Raptors look like they are getting on a roll as we inch closer and closer to the playoffs. Big man Marc Gasol has really stepped up in the wake of Ibaka's injury, and has proved that he is a force to be reckoned with on the perimter, knocking down 46.5% of this three point attempts en route to averaging 16.3 points per game this season.

                    Suns Fire Williams, Hire Underwood
The Phoenix Suns have announced that they have fired head coach Monty Williams. Williams led the Suns to a 18-43 record this season, albeit not all his fault. The veteran head coach was never really supplied with much talent on the court, and ultimately took the fall for poor front office decisions. The Suns announced that Jacob Underwood has been hired to replace Williams as the Suns head coach. Underwood will make his coaching debut against the NBA-best Toronto Raptors.

                    Up Next: Raptors (46-14) @ Suns (18-43)

The Toronto Raptors continue on their six game road trip as they take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday evening. Newly appointed Suns head coach Jacob Underwood will make his coaching debut, and it'll be interesting to see how a Phoenix team without Devin Booker will respond. Booker has been sidelined with a Torn Right MCL and is expected to miss the next 1-2 weeks. The talented Suns guard had been averaging 27.4 PPG, and his absence will be felt throughout the Suns lineup. The Raptors will continue to be without Patrick McCaw as he continues to deal with a shoulder injury.

Red-Hot Siakam, Raptors Take Down Suns
Pascal Siakam had 23 points in the first quarter as the Toronto Raptors jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back en route to their 15th consecutive win. Siakam would finish with 36 points, and Kyle Lowry chipped in 29 as the Raptors picked up their 47th win of the season.

You have a strong lead on the 1rst seed going into March, will be interesting to see if Nurse keeps pushing to try and overtake Lakers for the best record in the NBA or starts to let guys rest

With a 4.5 game lead going into March it’s too early to fully let off the gas just yet, but I do expect to see the starters (especially Lowry and Siakam) to get some rest during the homestretch of the regular season.

Would much rather have them at full energy for the playoffs and not risk an injury during a meaningless regular season game.

The Toronto Raptors wrap up their six game road trip on Monday night in Utah as they take on the Utah Jazz. Led by Donovan Mitchell, the Jazz have played surprisingly well all season long, holding the third seed in the Western Conference standings. The Raptors recently clinched a playoff spot with their win over the Sacramento Kings on last night as they seek an unprecedented 18th consecutive win.

The Jazz will be without guard Jordan Clarkson, who is recovering from a fracture suffered in his right hand. The Raptors continue to be without Patrick McCaw, who is nursing a shoulder injury. It will be interesting to see if Nick Nurse plays with a conservative rotation in hopes of resting his stars before the playoffs roll around.
