Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
Tough loss again but to a very good Louisville team. Keep chipping away at it. My it would be good to see Morehead in the top 25 by seasons end...Comment

That was a close loss to the Cardinals, you were in that game for a good while. I agree, you should consider it a moral victory.
Interesting to see Memphis at the top of the polls, wonder if virtual Rose and Coach Cal can pull off the title here.Comment

Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
I think you may be way ahead of yourself but I love the energy. We play a pretty weak schedule and have had several of our games go down to the final buzzer we could easily be looking at a losing record. The ranking committee is pretty tough on small conference teams so I don't see it happening.
Maybe a mid-major top 25 though? Love the energy though.
Memphis has been rolling they've been number one all season and currently sit at 14-0. Will be interesting if Cal stays at Memphis this time around too.
I was definitely very surprised with how things went but I was not going to complain. When this team is hot it can almost beat everyone but our three point shot is so streaky it can also shoot us out of a game.Comment

Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
Looks like The Manimal is starting to be a facilitator as well as a double-double machine for you guys. Have you been running a lot of the offense through him?
I remember having a stud PF/C at St. John’s on my title team. On his post ups I would always wait a second to see if a double team was coming and try to kick out for open threes. Would get him to average 4-5 assists per game.

Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
Yeah definitely, wasn't a planned aspect of my offense but the dumping it into Faried and letting him draw in the defense before kicking it out to a shooter has been beautiful. Faried's post game isn't what I'd like it to be yet but his strength and dunking ability make it so that defenses have to respect him whenever he has the ball in the paint which leads to open threes. Faried actually leads our team in assists by a one assist per game over my point guard.Looks like The Manimal is starting to be a facilitator as well as a double-double machine for you guys. Yeah, blowout losses are the worst. Suffered one of those recently and ... UGHHHHHHH ... it was just one bad thing after another, snowballed for my squad. Even in the pros a blowout is a terrible, no good, very bad time. You'll bounce back.Comment

Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
Blowout losses are always a humbling experience, knocking you down a peg. They always seem to happen just when you think your team is about to get on a roll too. Despite the loss to Louisville, we had been playing good lately and thought we were about to start rolling into the rest of conference play. I was wrong.Comment

Re: Another Person Who Can't Give up a Decade Old Game
I’m dying to play it again and as a middle school teacher who won’t have to go in to school the rest of the year you would think I would have the time to play again. Unfortunately, day cares are closed and my 15-month old daughter is home with me all day so I have zero time for gaming. One day though...
