The Raiders look sluggish in the 1st quarter, only managing 2 FG's by P Shane Lechler (38yd, 40yd.) Six points, however is more than the Broncos can manage.

The Broncos take a narrow lead in the 2nd when rookie WR Kammeon Walker (#9 pick in 1st round) goes 80yds for a TD on a QB Jay Cutler pass. It takes most of the quarter, but the Raiders regain the lead when WR Mario Manningham catches a 5yd TD pass from QB JaMarcus Russell.

The Raiders extend their lead with a 23yd TD catch by rookie WR Renaldo Green.

This game turns into a shootout in the 4th quarter. Denver HB Shaun Alexander narrows the gap when he goes in for a 2yd TD run. Oakland responds with a 1yd TD catch by FB Carl Stewart. Week 13 Oakland Raiders (11-0) @ Cleveland Browns (6-5)

Cleveland Coach Romeo Crennell was ready for this one. Knowing that the Raiders love to blitz, HC Crenell had his guys ready to take advantage. The result, the Browns controlled this one up until the 4th quarter. Despite being down as much as 21pts, the Raiders never gave up and QB JaMarcus Russell engineered a stunning comeback.

(12-0) Oakland Raiders @ (11-1) New England Patriots

HC Joslin and the Raiders faced arguably their toughest opponent this season when they journeyed to Foxborro. The Patriots have one of the top offenses in the league and their HC Hal Ophamer doesn't like to lose. Unfortunately for him, neither does Raider QB JaMarcus Russell. Russell controlled this game from start to finish, continuing Oakland's winning streak, and handing QB Tom Brady and the Patriots their second loss of the season.

Injury Note: The Raiders did have a scare when P Shane Lechler went out with a bruised thigh early in the game, but fortunately he came back. Normally this wouldn't be a concern, but K Sebastian Janikowski angered coach Joslin earlier in the season and as a result hasn't even suited up for last five games.
