Ducks Soar to Victory Over Montana

Eugene, OR- The Oregon Ducks took on 1-AA Montana in their home opener and cruised to victory. The Ducks racked up 548 yards of offense against the weak Montana team, with only 8 attempted passes. Kellen Clemens completed only 5 passes, but got 120 yards and 3 touchdowns. The great running backs in Oregon ran wild, with Whitehead getting 11 carries for 142 yards and a touchdown. True freshman, Jonathan Stewart ran 7 times for 118 yards and a touchdown. Cameron Colvin had an impressive all-around day, with 2 receptions for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, 1 rush for 60 yards, and 5 punt returns for 109 yards and a touchdown. Devan Long racked up a game high 9 tackles and stuffed the Montana offense all game. The Ducks had no problems in this game, winning 49-7.
