      First Half

      Dudley sinks a jumper and Ndiaye banks in a layup on a fast break then after Dudley lays in a rebound, Dudley and Grizzard put in layups on fast breaks to give Old Dominion a 10-0 lead with under 15:00 remaining. Maye drops in a layup on a fast break and after Grizzard and Berry trade jumpers, Quinn banks in a jumper. Danley sinks a short jumper then Ndiaye tips in a rebound to give the Monarchs a ten point lead, 16-6, halfway through the first half. Pritchard banks in a layup and after Quinn knocks down a turnaround jumper, Ndiaye drops in a layup on a fast break. Dixon buries a hook then after Danley hits a turnaround jumper, Dudley drills a 3pter and Dixon puts in a layup to give Old Dominion a 17-point lead, 27-10, with under 5:00 left. Quinn and Maye trade jumpers then Paulding banks in a hook in the closing seconds to give the Monarchs a 19-point lead at the half. Old Dominion's Dudley leads all scorers with 9 points. Danley and Maye each have 4 points to pace Indiana State.

      Second Half
      Danley puts in a layup and after Grizzard banks in a layup on a fast break, Berry sinks a hook to pull Indiana State to within 17, 33-16, with under 15:00 remaining. Ndiaye makes 1 of 2 free throws and after Danley sinks a hook Dudley swishes a jumper. Ndiaye banks in a couple of layups then after Grizzard drops in a layup on a fast break, Mcfarlin drains a hook to pull the Sycamores to within 22, 42-20, midway through the second half. Grizzard buries a 3pter then after Pritchard sinks a turnaround jumper and Maye makes 1 of 2 free throws, Dancy and Dickey hit jumpers to give Old Dominion a 26-point lead, 49-23, with just under 5:00 left. Dancy converts a 3-point play then Maye cans a 3pter in the closing minutes as the Monarchs double up Indiana State.

              The defensive effort was terrific. The team forced Indiana State into shooting a bunch of tough shots. I couldn't believe how poorly the Sycamores shot in the first half as we held them to only 12 points. We were also able to limit them to only 2 fast break points as our transition defense was strong.

              I expected a better effort from a team coming from "The Valley" considering what Southern Illinois did to us.

              I am hoping that we can now get on a roll and defeat Denver at home then follow that with hopefully wins on the road against Lafayette and Winthrop before heading to Chapel Hill to take on the #1 Tar Heels.

                First Half

                Asseo and Dudley sink jumpers then Grizzard drops in a layup on a fast break. Ndiaye slams in a dunk on a fast break then Riley banks in a short jumper to pull Denver to within six, 8-2, with under 15:00 remaining. Akins banks in a couple of layups on fast breaks then after Lettenberger banks in a layup to tie the game, Dudley jams in a dunk on a fast break. Grizzard drops in a layup on a fast break and Quinn sinks a short jumper to give Old Dominion a six point lead, 14-8, halfway through the opening half. Quinn makes two free throws and after Dancy puts in a layup on a fast break, Dickey cans 1 of 2 free throws. Dixon lays in a rebound then Cannon drops in a layup to pull the Pioneers to within 11, 21-10, with 5:00 left. Ndiaye stuffs in a dunk on a fast break and Grizzard converts a 3-point play then Riley makes two free throws and Lettenberger sinks a jumper at the buzzer to pull Denver to within 12 at the half. Old Dominion's Grizzard leads all scorers with 7 points. Akins, Lettenberger and Riley each have 4 points to lead Denver.

                Dudley banks in a layup and Quinn hits a hook then after Grizzard and Asseo each bank in layups, Ndiaye drops in a layup on a fast break. Ndiaye sinks a jumper and slams in a dunk as Old Dominion opens the second half with a 14-0 run to build their lead to 26, 40-14, with 15:00 remaining. Riley and Dickey trade jumpers then Riley nails a turnaround jumper and puts in a layup to pull Denver to within 22, 42-20, midway through the second half. Foster makes 1 of 2 free throws and after Dixon buries a hook, Lettenberger and Dixon trade jumpers. Dancy banks in a layup on a fast break then after Akins converts a 3-point play, Dancy drills a 3pter to give the Monarchs a 25-point lead, 51-26, with just under 5:00 left. Dixon banks in a hook and tips in a rebound then after Parkinson swishes a short jumper, Dancy makes two free throws. Lettenberger nails a jumper and after Dancy banks in a layup, Lettenberger drains a 3pter in the closing seconds to end the game.

                        First Half

                        Ndiaye hits a 3pter and two free throws then after McNair sinks a short jumper, McNair swishes a hook. Quinn lays in a rebound and afater Cooley makes two free throws, Asseo banks in a short jumper to give Old Dominion a 9-6 lead with 15:00 remaining. Dudley cans two free throws then after Cooley and Dudley trade layups on fast breaks, Dickey slams in a dunk on a fast break to give the Monarchs a seven point lead, 15-8, halfway through the opening half. Ray hits a 3pter and Ndiaye buries a jumper then after Vargas puts in a layup on a fast break, Cesar drops in a turnaround jumper and Nicholas drills a 3pter to pull Lafayette to within five, 20-15, with just under 5:00 left. Both teams are cold until about a minute to go as Asseo banks in a layup then Munns banks in a hook to pull the Leopards to within five at the half. Old Dominion's Ndiaye leads all scorers with 7 points. Cooley and McNair each have 4 points to lead Lafayette.

                        Second Half
                        Dudley and Munns trade jumpers and after Dudley slams in a dunk on a fast break, Asseo makes 1 of 2 free throws. Ndiaye lays in a rebound and drains two free throws to give Old Dominion a 12-point lead, 31-19, with just over 15:00 remaining. Ndiaye and Cooley trade 3pters and after Asseo cans a hook, Munns swishes a short turnaround jumper. Quinn drops in a layup then Nicholas banks in a layup on a fast break to pull Lafayette to within 12, 38-26, midway through the second half. McNair sinks a short jumper and Nicholas puts in a layup then after Ndiaye banks in a runner, See nails a jumper. McNair buries a hook then Dudley hits a 3pter and Grizzard drops in a layup on a fast break to give the Monarchs an 11-point lead, 45-34, with under 5:00 left. Dudley and Ndiaye put in layups then after Ndiaye drops in a layup on a fast break, Ndiaye slams in a dunk on a fast break. Dudley banks in a jumper and Ebong puts in a layup as Old Dominion closes with an 18-0 run to end the game and blow out the Leopards.

                                First Half

                                Both teams start off cold as there is no scoring for the first three minutes. Grkovic sinks a jumper and Jefferies puts in a layup on a fast break then after Ndiaye drains a runner, Kapono hits a short jumper. Quinn banks in a short jumper and Grizzard makes two free throws to tie the game, 6-6, with just over 15:00 remaining. Noel banks in a turnaround jumper and after Grkovic and Asseo trade jumpers, Grkovic lays in a rebound. Ndiaye hits a 3pter then after Eppenhimer nails a short jumper, Grizzard banks in a layup on a fast break. Jefferies and Dudley trade jumpers then Eppenhimer drops in a layup on a fast break to give Winthrop a three point lead, 18-15, halfway through the first half. Grizzard puts in a layup on a fast break and after Dixon and Jefferies trade jumpers, Dickey banks in a turnaround jumper to give Old Dominion the lead, 21-20, with 5:00 left. Noel makes two free throws and after Dancy drops in a layup on a fast break, Ndiaye cans 1 of 2 free throws. Dudley slams in a dunk on a fast break then after Ray and Noel trade layups, a 3pter is buried by Snow. Dudley and Parkinson each bank in layups to give the Monarchs a six point lead at the half. Old Dominion's Dudley leads all scorers with 7 points. Grkovic, Jefferies and Noel each have 6 points to lead Winthrop.
