Both teams struggle as the game begins. Brown sinks a couple of jumpers and after Dukes puts in a layup, Army leads by two, 4-2, with 15:00 remaining. Sinton hits a turnaround jumper to tie the game and the Black Knights retake the lead with a 3-pter by Bates. Mcfarlin leads Wake Forest on a 7-0 run to take the lead and after Brown sinks a jumper, Army pulls to within a basket, 11-9, halfway through the first half. Stanley hits a 3-pter to start the Demon Deacons on a 10-0 run. After Brown banks in a jumper and Richard sinks a 3-pter, Stanley puts in 1 of 2 free throws to give Wake Forest an eight point lead, 22-14, with 5:00 left. The teams trade baskets then Weaver sinks two free throws to start the Demon Deacons on a 6-2 run as they go into halftime leading by 12. Army's Brown leads all scorers with 8 points and Stanley leads Wake Forest with 6.

Second Half
The teams trade a couple of baskets as both teams struggle after the break. After Zastoupil puts in a hook shot, Wake Forest is leading by ten, 34-24, with 15:00 remaining. Hale and Brown trade 3-pters then the teams trade baskets. After Mcfarlin hits a 3-pter, Thompson slams home a dunk on a fast break to put Army to within 11, 42-31, midway through the second half. Hale and Dukes leads the Demon Deacons on a 12-4 run to open the game up as Wake Forest takes a 19 point lead, 54-35, with 5:00 left. Carter puts in a layup then Gurley hits a 3-pter to start the Demon Deacons on a 9-0 run. After a jumper by Brown and a tip in by Crawford, Zastoupil finishes the scoring by sinking 1 of 2 free throws as Wake Forest blows out Army.

First Half
Thompson hits a 3-pter and Husak puts in a layup then Jarell Brown catches fire and leads Army on an 8-4 run. Jarell Brown's second 3-pter gives the Black Knights the early lead, 11-6, with 15:00 remaining. The teams trade a couple of baskets then after Goodman puts in a layup and Lisch sinks a jumper, Army is up by 5, 17-12, halfway through the opening half. The teams continue to struggle offensively. After a jumper by Jarell Brown, Danny Brown hits a 3-pter and Dixon puts in a layup as Saint Louis cuts the Black Knights' lead to a basket, 19-17, with just under 5:00 left. Thompson hits a 3-pter to start Army on an 8-1 run as they go into halftime leading by 9. Army's Jarell Brown leads all scorers with 15 points and Dixon leads Saint Louis with 6.

The teams trade baskets before Jarell Brown hits a 3-pter. After Dixon sinks a hook shot and Thompson buries a 3-pter, Husak and Jameson put in layups. Thompson puts in a layup to stop the run and put Army up by 11, 37-26, with just under 15:00 remaining. Jameson hits a 3-pter and Bates sinks a short jumper then the teams trade baskets. Liddell and Farrell each put in layups to cut the Black Knights' lead to 6, 41-35, midway through the second half. Lisch leads Saint Louis on a 7-2 run then Army gets a jumper from Jarell Brown and a layup from Thompson. The teams trade jumpers and after a put back layup by Dixon, the Black Knights are up by three, 49-46, with 5:00 left. Zastoupil puts in a hook shot then Thompson hits a jumper and Bates sinks two free throws to build Army's lead to 9 with about two minutes to go. After Farrell nails a 3-pter and Liddell puts in a layup, the Billikens start to foul. Thompson misses the front end of a 1-and-1 then Farrell drops in a jumper with a second to play. They foul Goodman and he misses the front end of the 1-and-1. Husek grabs the rebound but time runs out and Army upsets Saint Louis.

The teams trade baskets then Buckendahl leads Penn State on a 6-0 run. After he tips in a rebound, the Nittany Lions lead by six, 8-2, with under 15:00 remaining. Thompson hits a 3-pter to stop the run then Cornley banks in a short turnaround jumper. After Brown drills a 3-pter, the teams trade baskets then Jackson puts in a layup to give Penn State a four point lead, 14-10, halfway through the opening half. Zastoupil sinks a turnaround jumper then the teams trade 3-pters. Claxton slams home a dunk and after Bogetic hits a couple of jumpers, Zastoupil banks in a short jumper to put Army to within six, 23-17, with just under 5:00 left. Claxton puts in a jumper then Carter leads the Black Knights on a 7-0 run to put Army to within one. With about a minute to go, the Nittany Lions get a layup from Dubois and a short jumper from Cornley to build the lead back up to five at the half. Brown leads Army with 8 points and Bogetic leads Penn State with 8.

Walker leads the Nittany Lions on a 7-0 run to take the lead then Goodman hits a 3-pter to tie the game. After Brown puts in a layup, Walker hits a 3-pter and leads Penn State on an 8-0 run. The teams trade baskets then Carter puts in a layup to cut the Nittany Lions' lead to four, 58-54, with just under 5:00 left. Buckendahl puts in a layup then later makes 1 of 2 free throws. Brown hits a 3-pter and after a layup by Zastoupil, Brown sinks another 3-pter to give the Black Knights the lead with 1:30 to go. Bogetic sinks 1 of 2 free throws to tie the game then Brown nails a 17-ft jumper with 2.2 seconds on the clock to give Army the lead. First Half
Barnett sinks a turnaround jumper and starts Dartmouth on a 6-0 run. After he banks in a jumper, Thompson hits a 3-pter to cut the lead in half, 6-3, with under 15:00 remaining. Thompson sinks a jumper and Barnett drills a 3-pter. The teams trade a couple of baskets and after Thompson hits a jumper, the Big Green is up by four, 13-9, halfway through the first half. Brown hits a jumper and a 3-pter to give Army the lead. Graeber and Zastoupil trade hook shots and after Brown drains a short runner, the Black Knights are up by three, 18-15, with under 5:00 left. After the teams trade baskets, biber hits a short fallaway jumper then Mosley sinks a 3-pter at the buzzer to give Dartmouth a two point lead at the half. Barnett leads Dartmouth with 7 points and both Brown and Thompson lead Army with 7 points each.

Second Half
Brown sinks a jumper and Thompson puts in a layup on a fast break to give Army the lead. Biber hits a 3-pter to give Dartmouth back the lead and starts them on an 8-0 run. After Bates sinks a short runner, the Big Green now leads by four, 30-26, with 15:00 remaining. Thompson and Brown put in layups to tie the game then the teams trade baskets. Pattman puts in a layup to give Dartmouth the lead then Bates is fouled while shooting and is injured. Richard comes in and sinks both free throws and after a trade of baskets, the Big Green is up by a basket, 38-36, midway through the second half. The teams trade baskets then trade 3-pters. Dartmouth is on a 6-2 run as they get 3-pters from Giovacchini and Mosley and now lead by six, 49-43, with 5:00 left. The teams only trade baskets and Smallwood sinks two clutch free throws to ice the game.
