Again this is fun to follow Good luck this season.

EDIT: I'm going to assume Providence.
Actually, I would really like to follow the real Bob Knight's footsteps and go to Indiana next or his current team, Texas Tech. The real Coach Knight spent six seasons at Army before moving along to the Hoosiers. If I don't get a gig like Indiana or Texas Tech, then I may go somewhere else. Who knows, maybe it might be the Friars. I guess that it will depend on my success with the Black Knights as to what teams might want me.

              Midnight Madness, 2007

West Point, NY -- After the annual Midnight Madness intrasquad game in front of the fans Coach Bob Knight decided on his starting five for the season opener against the Niagra Purple Eagles.

              SG J.Brown
              SF C.Richard
              PF C.Bates
              PF E.Zastoupil (at C)

"We are going to redshirt the following freshmen for the upcoming season: SGs Akin Anderer and Roshaun Sinville, plus PF Percy McCormick. Edgar Goodman did a good job in handling the offense and he may even start during the season," Coach Knight stated after the game.

                  Great Danes Nip Army, 55-50

                  Recreation and Convocation Center
                  Albany, NY

                  First Half
Both teams struggle as the game begins. Iati and Lillis both hit 3-pters in the opening five minutes to give Albany a six point lead, 6-0, with 15:00 remaining. After the Great Danes get a layup from Ross and a jumper from Wilson, Army cuts the lead in half thanks to a 3-pter by Thompson and a short jumper by Brown as the Black Knights trail by five, 10-5, halfway through the first half. The teams trade a couple of baskets then Knight puts in a layup and Ross taps in a rebound for Albany. After a layup by Zastoupil, the Great Danes' lead is seven, 18-11, with 5:00 left. Iati hits a 3-pter then Brown gets hot and sinks four 3-pters in leading Army on a 14-5 run. His 3-pter with ten seconds to go pulls the Black Knights to within one at the half. Army's Brown leads all scorers with 16 points and Iati leads Albany with 8.

                  Second Half

Albany's Lillis opens the second half with a 3-pter then Brown hits a 3-pter and slams home a dunk on a fast break to give Army the lead. Dynasty's looking good. Nice job.

Rough start to the season, Brown really needs someone step up as a secondary option. I'm sure you'll rebound and have a good season

                            The dynasty is looking good.

Rough start to the season, Brown really needs someone step up as a secondary option. I'm sure you'll rebound and have a good season
                              Thanks for the response.

Thompson or maybe Carter could try to step up but they are not consistant.

Hopefully this team will start to gel in time for the conference opener.
