Actually, I would really like to follow the real Bob Knight's footsteps and go to Indiana next or his current team, Texas Tech. The real Coach Knight spent six seasons at Army before moving along to the Hoosiers. If I don't get a gig like Indiana or Texas Tech, then I may go somewhere else. Who knows, maybe it might be the Friars. I guess that it will depend on my success with the Black Knights as to what teams might want me.

The teams trade baskets to begin the game then Fisher leads Niagra on a 6-0 run to put them in front, 8-2, with 15:00 remaining. Brown hits a 3-pter then Lewis puts in two layups. Brown sinks another 3-pter then after the teams trade baskets, the Purple Eagles are up by four, 14-10, halfway through the first half. The defenses continue to shine as the teams only trade a couple of baskets and Niagra is up by four, 18-14, with 5:00 left. The teams trade baskets then Lewis leads the Purple Eagles on a 10-4 run. His jumper from the foul line gives Niagra a ten point lead at the half. Niagra's Lewis leads all scorers with 11 points and Brown leads Army with 10.

Second Half
Lewis leads Niagra on a 9-2 run to start the second half before Richard hits a jumper to stop the run. His jumper starts Army on a 9-2 run and after Brand sinks a jumper, the Purple Eagles are up by 14, 43-29, with 15:00 remaining. Bates sinks a jumper and puts in a layup then Fisher hits a 3-pter to stop the run. After Thompson banks in a jumper, Gogerty and Gordon hit short jumpers to put Niagra's lead up to 15, 50-35, midway through the second half. Both teams struggle and after Bates sinks a runner, Richard drills a 3-pter to cut the Purple Eagles' lead to 10, 50-40, with 5:00 left. The teams trade a couple of baskets then Richard hits a 3-pter. Fisher sinks a jumper and Brown drills a 3-pter then, with inside of a minute to go, Lewis hits a 3-pter and Zastoupil puts in a short turnaround jumper to end the game.

Both teams struggle as the game begins. Iati and Lillis both hit 3-pters in the opening five minutes to give Albany a six point lead, 6-0, with 15:00 remaining. After the Great Danes get a layup from Ross and a jumper from Wilson, Army cuts the lead in half thanks to a 3-pter by Thompson and a short jumper by Brown as the Black Knights trail by five, 10-5, halfway through the first half. The teams trade a couple of baskets then Knight puts in a layup and Ross taps in a rebound for Albany. After a layup by Zastoupil, the Great Danes' lead is seven, 18-11, with 5:00 left. Iati hits a 3-pter then Brown gets hot and sinks four 3-pters in leading Army on a 14-5 run. His 3-pter with ten seconds to go pulls the Black Knights to within one at the half. Army's Brown leads all scorers with 16 points and Iati leads Albany with 8.

Second Half
Albany's Lillis opens the second half with a 3-pter then Brown hits a 3-pter and slams home a dunk on a fast break to give Army the lead. The lead changes hands twice and after a layup by Ross, the game is tied, 33-33, with 15:00 remaining. Both teams continue to struggle as the Great Danes take the lead thanks to a layup by Gifford and a 3-pter by Wilson. After Brown puts in a layup to stop the run, Albany leads by three, 38-35, midway through the second half. A layup by Goodman and a 3-pter by Carter gives the Black Knights the lead then Iati sinks a turnaround jumper to tie the game. Army takes the lead as Thompson hits a 3-pter and Brown puts in a layup then Knight puts in a layup as the Black Knights lead by three, 45-42, with 5:00 left. The Great Danes go on a 5-0 run to take the lead then Zastoupil puts in a layup to tie the game. Iati hits a jumper to give Albany the lead then follows it with a layup and two clutch free throws as Army starts to foul to stop the clock. Brown hits a 3-pter to pull the Black Knights to within three then a bad pass by Zastoupil leads to a dunk by Gifford to cap the Albany win.
