Goodman puts in a layup and after Jacobson and Matela bank in jumpers, Jacobson drops in a couple of layups on fast breaks to give Army a 16-4 lead with just under 15:00 remaining. Weisse drills a 3pter and Matella makes 1 of 2 free throws then Wofford drops in a layup as the both teams struggle for points and Saint Francis (PA) pulls within six, 16-10, halfway through the first half. George puts in a layup and two free throws then after George cans 1 of 2 free throws, Goodman hits a layup and two free throws. Anderer buries two free throws then Pierce stops the run with a short jumper to pull the Red Flash to within 15, 27-12, with less than 5:00 left. Weisse and Goodman trade layups and after Viegas banks in a layup, Mark hits a 3pter to pull the Red Flash to within 20, 49-29, midway through the second half. Jacobson puts in a layup and with around 9:30 left, Army sends in the reserves to mop up the game and get in some bonus playing time. Anderer sinks a turnaround jumper and Montgomery cans a hook and after Bird swishes a short turnaround jumper, Pierce drains a runner to pull Saint Francis (PA) to within 26, 57-31, with 5:00 to go. George and McCormick each make two free throws then after Wofford sinks a 3pter, Anderer slams in a dunk. Cannon drains a short turnaround jumper then George puts in a layup as the Black Knights coast to the victory.
