ok here is my plan, now that my son is gone and my days are my own again except for having to go see dad for an hr a day, i should be able to play 3 games a day. this would get me at least up to the all star break in no more than 2 days.
during this time of fast updating there will be no updates, or box scores posted. that is once i hit the all star break. i'm hoping that that update which will be ultra Bigivie Vineline-esc, and then some.
once that hard work is done i will again hit the as many games a day as i can play until im finally caught up for good. total time of this project of getting caught up should be ... mmm a week or so at best. once that happens updates will be coming regularly and AND... i will be happy.
now as of right now im currently 6 games back of the Angels in the Division and 8.0 games back of the Yankees in the wild card chase.
i will be turning over complete trade control to the computer after the All-Star break to see what the virtual Billy Beane will do with this team in the final 2 weeks before the deadline.
The only way i will NOT do that is IF and only if between now and the all star break i can get too within 3 or less games of the Angels. this will all depend on how i do against Seattle in my next three games. (game one of series was a cake walk 7-1, Duchscherer won his 12th game aginst just 3 losses on the season).
after this series with Seattle i have a three game against the Angels to finish the first half. now they are playing well very well in fact. which doesn't really surprise me at all.
so all i can do to keep from turning over the trade control over to the computer is to win out my remaining six games before the break.
if i can do this and the angels find a way to loose a couple over the next three games before we face off for the last time in the first half of the season i should be in pretty good position to put the pressure on them to close otu the first half.
The keep close with the Angels doesn't look so good. i just looked at my record over the last 10 games against them and im 4-6. which doesnt give me much faith in my ability to win this upcoming series or stay within reach of them for the division.
if i do get out of contention sooner rather than later which im on the cusp of doing now, i dont see me making the playoffs for the first time ever in my life. so everyone that follows my page please keep the faith for me and just keep those positive vibes coming. im going to need all the help i can get.
