I am looking forward to the layout but wondering just how confusing it will be at first. as far as what i will be doing with it will all depend on hohw much time im able to commit to it and each game or update i do.

Ok here is the story, right now i have a little over three weeks to play in my franchise. i want to get it done and over with by the first of the year. which means starting Sunday i will have to play my rear off for a week. Luckily for me i have that week off (unfortuneatly pay wise) so i will be able to accomplish this task.

this update isn't anything shiny or new just a side bar update for the week. things are starting to boil to the surface and get really interesting for some teams in some divisions. i will do my best to keep you all up on those things transpire.

as for the minor league playoffs here is your update, including divisions i totally skipped over on my first one..

the first championship match up we have comes from both the PCL American conference and the PCL Pacific Conference.

The Sound swept the Red Hawks in the American conference to advance to the championship (3-0)

over in the PCL Pacific conference it was the 52's sweeping the Sky Sox to advance to the championship round.

so it will be the Sounds Vs. the 51's to decide the PCL championship.

over in the IL, nothing has been decided just yet on who will make it to the championship or not.

in the IL division series the Braves lead the Chiefs two games to one. over in the IL wild card it is the Iron Pigs leading the Bats two games to one.

in the TL South division it was the Rough Riders defeating the Missions three games to one to advance to the championship round.

over in the TL North divsion the Cardinals had a first round bye. so the TL Championship will be played between the Rough Riders and the Cardinals.

in the SL the north division team the Diamond Jaxx are still awaiting who they will play (first round bye) in the championship game from the SL South division.

the Braves lead the Barons two games to one in that battle to determine the SL South title.

Over in the EL in the Northern division the Defenders soundly defeated the Fisher Cats three games to none to advance to the championship round.

nothing has been decided on who they will be facing in the championship yet. as the Bay Sox lead the Aeros two games to one in the EL Southern division.

so there you have it... a complete Minor league playoff picture update.

Good luck the rest of the way man, 5.5 games is hard to overcome in just 10 games, but I'm pulling for you. Hopefully you at least pull the Yankees in, do you play them at all the last week?

i wish i played them in the final week but alas i play no one but the Rangers and the Mariner to finish my season.

Oakland Updated!!!

With Seven games left in the season it is all but over for me and my A's. after going on a five game win streak and getting my hopes up fairly high i have recently dropped three in a row, and seen each of the teams that im chasing magic numbers shrink drastically. i will finish out the season as it is the only right thing to do.

goiing forward after this season is over for my MLB THE SHOW 08 this thread will be shut down. so there is no confussion. i will be continueing this game into a second season next year (in a new thread) along with a seperate thread for my MLB THE SHOW 09 Oakland A's page.

speaking of which, Dynastymanager.com is changing and getting better. the Admin is working night and day to get it going. it will be just amazing so im looking forward to getting my baseball pages going once the game comes out.

if i do (which of course i will) any off season stuff it wil be done on this thread of course.. or maybe i will do a short little off season thread. i havent decided yet but there will be a notice here on what will happen when it happens.

Sorry to hear that man. It was a nice run. I will also be continuing another season. I don't think I'm picking up '09 this year, I'd just rather continue on with 08. Looking forward to both. Good luck with the coming year.

oh no i think yuo miss understood, and im terrible at explaing things. this will be contiuing but under a new thread. due to the fact that ive been running under the 07 label and it maybe be confusing to some. i thought it was just time for me to get it more organized with my threads and since i haven't been doing my Reds chise since about the first week in 07's game and im now playing 08 instead of 07 just want to make it clear and easy to understand.

so like one thrad would be, "mlblover15's MLB 08 THE SHOW Oakland Athletics second season" or something like that for my second year of this chise.

the other one would be just "mlblover15's MLB THE SHOW 09 Oakland Athletics"

but those wont be up for a while, until then this thread is concluded how ever that is. whether i make the post season or not. we will just have to wait and see...

ok well i just allowed the Angels to win the west with my loss to the Rangers. however im still BARELY alive in the wc. for all you Yankee, Red Sox, Mets, Braves, Brewers, Cubs, Cards, Indians, and White Sox fans you will want to keep a very close eye on your teams over the final 6 days of my season. who will make it in and how... oh by the way standings have been updated.
