    ID2003: Raptors in December...

Instead of clogging the other thread, I decided I will make a thread for each month I play in.

As I said in the other thread, Jason Kidd earned Player of The Month honors for November.

Possible Trade Including Raptors and Pacers...

TRADE RUMORS The Raptors are trying to make a deal with the Pacers.

The core players would be Alvin Williams and Jamaal Tinsley.

"This really sucks. This early in the season, I might get traded to a struggling team"--Alvin Williams on the rumors.

"He's been turning the ball over way too much lately. I love his 'want' to get rebounds, but we'd like to obtain a floor general-type point guard that won't turn the ball over as much"--Grunwald on the trade rumor...

Raptros get Murdered while Elvis is in the Building...

        TOR @ MEM

The NBA's two newest franchise met in tonight's game in Memphis. So far, Memphis has had a good season (9-7), as the Raptors are just getting over .500

It was a blow-out from the start. Vince Carter had a horrible shooting night, as well as Morris Peterson. Antonio Davis had to leave the game early, as he re-aggrivated his bum ankle.

Memphis takes the easy, easy victory at home, winning 97-71.

        Memphis STATS
        Jason Williams - 23 points, 7 assist
        Pau Gasol - 22 points, 13 rebounds
        Michael Dickerson - 22 points

        Toronto STATS
        Alvin Williams - 21 points, 7 rebounds
        Vince Carter - 18 points, 11 rebounds
        Antonio Davis - 13 rebounds

        NEXT GAME:

            And your NEW Toronto Raptors...

A TRADE TOOK PLACE EARLIER TODAY that involved the Toronto Raptors and the Houston Rockets.

            Toronto Gets:
            Moochie Norris
            Eddie Griffin
            Raja Bell

            Houston Gets:
            Alvin Williams
            Morris Peterson
            Dell Curry

Both Eddie Griffin and Moochie Norris will step right in and their respective starting spots.

"Eddie Griffin will give us some good rebounding, and with his improved outside shot, he won't leave people sleeping on him", says Lenny Wilkens

"Moochie is definetly gonna bring us some energy. Ain't no doubt about it, when you can trade for a guy like him, there's no doubt you gotta pull the trigger" says Vince Carter about his new backcourt partner, Moochie Norris.
