    Carolina Panthers (Madden NFL 2004)

I will play this on Madden NFL 2004. I have found that with the accelerated clock on, I can play full 15 minute quarters which I like.

    Team: Carolina Panthers
    GM: James Frizzell (Me!)
    Quarters: 15 minutes
    Difficulty: All-Pro
Sliders: Default with a few tweaks

Nice win to open the season. Your special teams sure looked special in that game.

Thanks. I don't know why, but Steve Smith was unstoppable on special teams. He only caught 3 passes for 17 yards and a touchdown on offense, but he was certainly "special" on special teams.

By the way, I did not play the preseason games, so this is the first game of the regular season.

Carolina Panthers (1-0) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-1)

                      CAR - 07 - 07 - 10 - 13 - 37
                      TBB - 13 - 10 - 10 - 11 - 43

Recap: The Carolina Panthers were torched through the air in this one as they gave up 485 yards and 3 touchdowns to Brad Johnson. Johnson also threw 3 interceptions, but the Buccaneers still managed to put up a startling 44 points. Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme struggled mightily completing only 34% of his passes throwing 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He ended with 185 yards passing, but most of that was in the 4th quarter. Stephen Davis had a good day for Carolina as he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Carolina falls to 1-1 on the year.

Yes, I have become largely disappointed with next-gen titles and am going back to old games which seem to simply be more "fun" and have that "fun-factor". I like this game back in the day and am still liking it as well.

Also, I think I am going to cut the quarter length down to 10 minutes. It will shorten the game for me and most importantly lower the score total. 44-37 is not particularly very realistic, so I think I'll cut the minutes. I may move it back up to 11 or 12 if I see need be as well.

                          Thanks for following!

Wow, 7 NCAA bids for the Atlantic 10. I did a dynasty with a past NCAAB game and the A-10 became the strongest power conference in my legacy.
