Re: Carolina Panthers (Madden NFL 2004)

    Atlanta Falcons (2-1) @ Carolina Panthers (1-1)

    ATL - 00 - 03 - 07 - 07 - 00 - 17
    CAR - 00 - 07 - 00 - 10 - 00 - 17

Recap: This was quite the defensive game as both teams struggled to move the ball the entire game, as the Panthers only gained 245 yards to the Falcons' 189 yards. What was perhaps the most surprising is that this game ended in a tie, the first tie of an NFL game since 2002 when Pittsburgh and, ironically, Atlanta ended in a 34-34 tie in Pittsburgh. Michael Vick was harassed all game as he only completed 7 of 18 pass attempts for just 100 yards. He also ran for 56 yards, but threw an interception and also fumbled. The Carolina Panthers fall to 1-1-1 with the tie game as they head into week 5 next week.

    Atlanta Falcons
    Passing
    M. Vick: 7/18, 100 yds., TD, INT
    Rushing
    M. Vick: 5 carries, 56 yds.
    Receiving
    B. Finneran: 3 receptions, 63 yds., TD

    Carolina Panthers
    Passing
    J. Delhomme: 20/37, 193 yds., TD, INT
    Rushing
    S. Davis: 28 carries, 76 yds.
    Receiving
    S. Davis: 7 receptions, 49 yds.

Yes, those days of old when the Panthers were appearing in Superbowl XXXVI against the Patriots. Now, we're stuck with 8-8 and 7-9 seasons and Jake Delhomme getting hurt every year.

Thanks, I'm also starting up a Rutgers one with NCAA 07 as well. I'm hoping I can actually stick with these.

Yeah, I'm thinking of starting a Madden 07 franchise on the PS2. How have you enjoyed this thus far SJ? Do you think you will continue it? I need my football fix.

NCAA 07 is pretty good. I'm really into NFL right now, though, since college football is over now. However, my Rutgers one will and should live on.

Yeah, I have NCAA 07 for the PS2 also. I can't remember which sliders I used and all the Run/Pass ratio #'s.
