In 14 games in the season, the Fury are 13-1. Many would say that the Fury have been facing easy teams, but the stats have showned that the Fury are no joke. They are three games in front of the second place Rangers.

Haha, thanks, I'm trying to keep it up to date. I've been shut down since I've played it six hours ago... looks like I'll have to wait for tomorrow to get in some games.

Re: Streak Ended at Thirteen Games

The Indians have finally snapped the Fury's winning streak of 13 games by the score of 5-3. An error played a major part in the defeat of the Fury. Patric Delgado allowed 4 ER and had 7 K's. Reliever Brian Arias allowed one ER with a pair of punchies.

3B Robert Knowles, who didn't start the game, came off the bench. On a full count, he was called out on strikes on a check swing which clearly showed that he didn't go around, the Fury unable to fight back when the Indians took the lead.

The Vancouver Fury are still in first place with three games in front of Texas (12-5).

Re: Streak Ended at Thirteen Games

After having their streak snapped, the Fury go on to start another one, taking the last game against the Indians and sweeping the Mariners. The Fury have not lost consecutive games, nor have they lost a series. With the month of April almost over, the Fury move on to face the World Series Champions, Anaheim, are, surprisingly, having a bad year. The Fury hope to make finish April with a 19-2 record after looking at the tough schedule ahead of them for the next couple of weeks.

In a recent game, Jeff Carpenter gave up his first and only ER, putting his run total to 3. He leads the league in K's with 38, but has had a dissappointing K's count. He hopes to up his K's within the next few starts. He also is working on the slurve pitch.

Glad to see your team is actually performing for you, while I'm still trying to get the Tigers to cooperate with me . . LoL

But nice journal so far, keep it up!

                            Thanks for the props.

I'm sure your tigers will be in the same page soon. My team was like that early in the season, gave up sooo many runs to the Yanks early in the season. It wasn't until the loss we took that the team started to focus on defense and pitching. Well, there really isn't gonna be another entry till saturday (i'll be playing hte whole day friday).

                                Re: Coach\'s Worries...

Signs point that the Fury's offense may begin to sputter after the fast start they had in April... In the last ten games, playes averages have been dipping significantly. The Fury can only hope for it's pitching to step up to it's potential.

Jeff Carpenter still has a concussion (don't know why).
Robert Knowles still has a sore arm (ditto).
