Re: USC Trojans (CH2K8)
That's an amazing looking format, I hope you continue it. On a side note, those aren't the most flattering pictures of your starters, are they? They look like extras from a George Romero movie. Good luck!

Re: USC Trojans (CH2K8)
Well I'll have a pretty similar format for game recaps when I choose to do them. Make sure to check out the freewebs page as well (in signature). I'll use the main page for banners and all that stuff and use the other page for all the necessary information.
Mayo is going to be VERY fun to useeven if only for 1 year

The format looks great.
At least you are putting something here besides just the stats and/or leaders. That's always a plus when I'm looking at journals. If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in english, thank a soldier.Comment

Re: USC Trojans (CH2K8)
Oklahoma Game
Lost 79-84. Oklahoma got a great team effort and O.J. Mayo couldn't carry the Trojans to victory. Mayo had 33 points knocking down 6 threes but he couldn't do it all himself.
Recruiting
USC got a recruitment from Angelo Fellows, a 6-10 center out of Santa Monica, CA.

Defense: B+

Rebounding: B+
Intelligence: A-

Really happy to get him signed. He's a banger down low and that's what USC needs as evidenced by the domination Memphis had in the paint last game.
Not a great offensive player but he doesn't need to be. We need somebody who can fill a role. Mamadou Diarra is not playing well early in the season and it's important to have a back up plan if Diarra does not develop.
That was the only scholarship available.Comment

Re: USC Trojans (CH2K8)
Thanks guys I beat Delaware St. 67-58
Mayo had 24, Taj Gibson had 8 & 16. Dwight Lewis was hot scoring 14 points. I went 8-14 from deep and that was the difference early on.
Mayo is averaging 21.9 to lead my team with Taj Gibson averaging 11.3 & 12.1
I really need to work on interior defense!
I was up 56-39 and then there was an insane comeback attempt. Can't say I feel the game is worthy of the whole little setup though.
Next game is vs. UC Riverside (3-6) then I get into Pac-10 play. I'm excited for conference play because the conference is really strong.
I'm debating on switching to 17 min halves from 16.
Oregon leads with 81.3 PPG, I'm in 8th with 67.9 PPG. But never mind 16 is good because I don't have that great of a team. I also need to up my tempo a little and I may up the tempo of the CPU. The take their time for the most part but that might change come Pac-10 play.
Next game update will be the conference opener @ Cal (7-3)Comment

To get number of posessions in a game:
