Just a reminder...

The freewebs page is up and running, so check it out. Just viewed it in IE and I saw a lot of the things were centered when I didn't want them to be. I will fix that for the next update.

I'm thinking at each quarter of the season I will update that page. There is quite a bit to do on it!

I realize I messed up on the names within the stats section. That will be fixed for the next update.

I'll definitely get some games in this weekend. This time off is going to make the game @ #1 UCLA all that more difficult!

#1 UCLA Defends Home Floor in 60-54 Victory

It was a hard fought, ugly game but I couldn't pull it off. UCLA shot 48% from the floor and I shot 38%. The game was REALLY ugly in the first half, however, I only trailed 22-20.

UCLA went on a run early in the second half to go up by 10 and I never caught up.

I keep on thinking this is West Virginia I am reading about with the horrible free throw shooting...

Looks like you may have to win the Pac-10 tournament to have a chance at a bid to the Big Dance.

I hear you man. In my first season at Texas State, I can't even count how many games I lost because of the real FT%. My best shooter would miss like 3 FTs a game even on a perfect release. Many games I would shoot like 7 for 15 and lose the game in OT. Just so frustrating.

USC vs. Arizona St.

Alright so we were both 4-4 in conference. I have to say they have a good, young, talented team. They have four starters score in double figures and they shot the ball really well. They were 10-23 from three point range and Jeff Harden was 4-10 from deep. Him and fellow freshman Ty Abbott really got them going.

I was up 37-30 at the half and thought it would be a cake walk the rest of the way. I was wrong because I could not stop them from scoring. They went on to win 70-67 but there is a little controversy for me. I took the final shot of the game to tie it up and made it!!! BUT, I was just late with it and it didn't count. I'd really like a replay for that one!!! It was such a clutch shot and to see it go in but watch my players look dejected was horrible.

I completely agree. The game I struggle from the line (Arizona St.) I lose.

Yea I either need a miraculous Pac-10 Tournament Title or I need to go on a winning streak.

Yea the thing is my worst FT shooter is Dwight Lewis, a SG!!! He's shooting 52%. Unacceptable for a guard.

Haven't had much time lately...hopefully I'll get some in this weekend and finish up the regular season.

I'm still in the middle of the Pac-10...around 4th or 5th. Looks like #4 in the tourney is most likely.
