Yo man, I am a fellow HUGE Wake fan. I live right in Clemson though, so I'm stuck with Clemson fans around here.

Anyways I can't believe I'm just now finding this. Solid solid work bro, and I'll definitely be following from here on out.

I'm just wondering, how do you do your updates like that, and about how long does it take you.

Thanks man. As you can see by my avatar I'm a Hoyas fan at heart but there is alot to love about Wake's future. Their incoming class was rated #1 by all the experts.

I use Micromedia Fireworks. It's a program that came with Dreamweaver. Once you get a template/layout established that you like and are comforftable with it takes about 5-10 mins to write everything down/ take a pic. Then another 10 mins to throw it into the layout/template.

Yeah we're balling right now but the ACC is really really young. The real test will be come torney time how we match up with an experienced team. I think if the season were to end right now we'd be a 2 or 3. That means we're looking at a 7/10 or 6/11 winner. Usually those 6's & 7's are good teams out of major conferences. That could be scary.

I'm 0-2 against UNC. I can't stop them on defense plus they shut me down on offense. They're a game behind me with the tie-breaker so hopefully they catch a couple of L's and our mtg in the last game of the year is just for bragging rights.

Obviously I'm very pleased with our 1st half perfomance despite dropping the last game. We had a couple of blowouts (Ga Tech/Duke) and a couple of really close one's (Miami/Clemson/FSU). Duke looks to have righted itself after losing Paulus by beating UNC & BC. BC was at one time 3-0 but have come back to reality. It still looks to be a 3 horse race with UNC/Duke & Wake/UNC facing off once more. I like holding the tie-breaker over Duke.

ACC PG's have been hit HARD so far. Not only Paulus but Tony Douglas, Vasquez & Rios are all battling injuries. MD is w/o 2 starters right now and it shows in the standings as they are just 2-5 overall. Depth looks to be a key factor coming down the stretch.

Coaches on the "Hot Seat"

Al Skinner- 2-14 last year and free falling this year (3-4, 11-7) has lit a fire under Al's buttcheeks. They have some decent young talent but with ACC POY canidate Tyrese Rice graduating this year it might be time for a change in Amherst.

Gary Williams- Flashback 5yrs and everything was love in Garyland. National Title, back-to-back Final 4s, NBA talent filled Roster. My have things have changed as he has not been able to use that success to land top level talent. 6-9, 15-12 overall last year is not enough for MD boosters despite Gary's past accomplishments.

Seth Greenberg- After advancing to the 2nd round of the NCAA's in 2006-2007, Seth's senior depleted Hokies were 5-11 last year in conf play and 2-7 this year. Hokieville is definately a football school but raised expectations by Seth could ultimately lead to his demise.

Have to be happy with how were perceived by the media but the coaches are showing us no love. We actually just broke the top 25 coming in at 19 but c'mon now. We beat some good OOC teams in Pitt, Bama, West Va and #2 Duke in their house who were undefeated then btw. 2 out of our 3 losses came against ranked teams, evidenced by our lofty #2 RPI standings. We're looking as a solid #3 NCAA seed with a good possibility of securing a #2 with either a 1)Regular Season Conf Title or 2) an ACC Tournament Title.

Player Grades
PG Ishmael Smith - "B"
Strength-Defense
Area of Improvement- Free Throw Shooting. Hard to play him late when you're shooting ~ 40% at the stripe.

We don't ask for much from Ish. Don't turn the ball over (under 2 To's per game), push the rock, hit the occasional J to make defenses honest, and play solid defense.

G Jeff Teague - "B-"
Strength-Ball handling
Area of Improvement- Mid-Range Shooting. Needs more consistency shooting the rock.

When he's on he can be scary because not many can stay with him off the bounce. Our best penetrator and great at initiating the fast break, has finished in traffic well for his size.

SF Al-Farouq Aminu - "A"
Strength-Offensive game
Area of Improvement- Defense. With his athleticism should get more steals.

Our best overall player has been everything advertised and more. Can shoot deep, mid range, finish and put the ball on the floor. Flat out Stud.

PF James Johnson - "B"
Strength-Finishing around hoop
Area of Improvement- Jump shot. Needs to extend that shot out to 18 feet.

He finishes over bigger defenders consistenly. Also great on defense defending bigs and 3's when needed. No letdown at all after 1st season.

C Tony Woods - "B-"
Strength-Athleticism
Area of Improvement- Finishing with contact. When opposing bigs put a body on him he tends to go up a little softer than I would like

He's not asked to score, just defend, rebound and finish when neccessary. While his blocks per game are not outerwordly, he alters a lot of shots which is all we need. Has really improved our defense in the half court.

BENCH

SG Harvey Hale - "C+"
Strength-Shooting
Area of Improvement- Driving & defense.

Really good at finding open spots behind 3pt line which equates to him playing at lot in the crunch. Our best "zone buster". Defense is suspect though.

G Gary Clark - "B-"
Strength-Scoring
Area of Improvement- Everything Else.

He can flat our score. I'd love to see a breakdown of pts per 40 mins on this kid. Better size at the 2 than Hale but his handle is a little shaky.

SF LD Williams - "B+"
Strength-Scoring
Area of Improvement- Rebounding. 6'4 SF's struggle in that area.

L.D. has embraced his new role off the bench and is a sparkplug. Has been shooting better lately but needs to be more consistent.

F Jamie Skeen- "A"
Strength-Shooting
Area of Improvement- Finishing strong.

Has been in double-digits off the bench 7 times this year already. When we go small, playing him at the 5 forces bigs to respect him. Has already attempted 5times as many 3's this year compared to last season.

C Chaz McFarland- "B-"
Strength-Low Post game
Area of Improvement- Holding onto the ball. No player on the team gets stripped as much as him.

Inconsistency has plagued him in ACC Play. 11 & 11 vs NC State followed up by 2&3 vs Clemson. Has team high with 14 rebs vs UPenn. at 7'0 should be a better shotblocker.

David Weaver & Cameron Staley- rack up too many DNP's to warrant grades.

Well, losing to Clemson again really sucked. Out of my 5 losses, 2 came to them. I really wanted the double (ACC reg season & Tourney Title).
