This is awesome, it was about time someone created a Phillies Franchise dynasty! I'll definitely be keeping up. I'm currently 12-11 in my 2nd season in my Phillies Franchise. I won the World Series in my first season beating the Red Sox in 6 games. Ryan Howard is the reigning MVP with 60 HRs 160 RBIs in 2008.

feliz was my favorite player when he was in SF, sad to see him go. of course the giants fan all hates feliz because of his strike outs. but i believe he has done more good than harm in SF. but nonetheless, my giants beat ur phillies just now. wooo in my game i mean lol

After last night's offensive explosion, everyone expected for it to continue with the pitching matchup for Saturday's game. It was Adam Eaton vs. Josh Fogg. But in that fifth inning, Joey Votto stepped up and hit a homerun to give the first run of the game. But the lead did not last long as in the 6th Shane Victorino hit his second homerun of the year to tie the game at 1. In the 7th, Votto led off the inning with a lead triple that was hit in the gap between Jenkins and Victorino. Then Javier Valentin brought him in with a SAC Fly. Cordero came in the game in the 9th and shut the door, striking out Howard and getting Burrell and Jenkins to ground out.

NO!!!!! Pat has really grown up in the past season and a half,he's shown a lot of maturity and his play is all the better for it.Don't get me wrong,he's had his ups and downs but no matter how hard the fans rode him,he never had anything bad to say. He's one of those athletes who "gets" Philly,I can't help but root for the guy.Ryan Howard on the other hand.....

                    Preview for April 7:

Harry Kalas: The Phillies look to notch a win today with one of their best pitchers on the mound. Brett Myers takes the hill and looks to help Philadelphia tie the series with the Reds.
Chris Wheeler: Thats right, Harry. Myers struggled in his last outing. He gave up 5 hits and 2 runs. His control was very wild.
Harry Kalas: The Reds will start pitcher Bronson Arroyo. One thing everyone comes to expect from Arroyo is the big sweeping curveball and the high leg kick.
Chris Wheeler: Arroyo was roughed up in his first outing of the year. He was only able to pitch 4 innings and gave up 5 runs. 2 of which came from the long ball. How the Reds perform in this game all depend on the pitching performance of Arroyo.
Harry Kalas: Well it looks about time to get the game going. Stay tuned after the game for the Phillies post game extra here on CSN.

                          With your host:

                          Michael Barkann

Barkann:Welcome Phillies fans to Phillies Post Game Live. Tonight Philadelphia finished off their series with the Cincinnati Reds. It was a terrific game and an excellent outing by tonight's starting pitcher Brett Myers.

                          PITCHING MATCH-UP
                          Brett
                          Myers

                          Bronson
                          Arroyo

                          3.59ERA11.25

Barkann: The Phillies got off to an early start when Jimmy Rollins got on base with a leadoff single. He then stole 2nd and 3rd base. And then came into score from an RBI single by Utley.

In the 3rd, Utley was at it again. Another RBI. This was from an RBI groundout scoring Rollins again.

Utley hitting an RBI single in the first.

Barkann: Brett Myers pitched great. He did not give up a hit in the first 4 innings and had 5 strikeouts.

Trouble arose in the 5th when both Phillips and Dunn had singles with no outs. But Myers was able to work out of trouble.

Myers finished with 7 strikeouts as he went 7 innings giving up 2 runs. 1 of the runs came from Corey Patterson.

                          Myers pitching in the 5th.

Barkann: Things got interesting late. Philly was only up 3-2 and the heart of the Reds lineup came up. In the 8th, J.C. Romero made short work of the Reds striking out Patterson and Phillips.

Then Lidge came into the game in the 9th. The first batter he faced was Adam Dunn and he struck him out. Next batter was Edwin Encarnacion and he grounded to 3rd.

He ended the game with a strikeout of Joey Votto and the Phillies were able to split the series with the Reds.

Lidge congratulated by Ruiz after perfect 9th.

Barkann: Now here is your box score.

Barkann: The Phillies head north to take on division rival New York.

The Mets are winless this year and Philadelphia hopes to continue that.

Barkann: Well that is all for the Phillies Post Game Live.

Make sure to tune in tomorrow night when the Phillies take on the Mets. Take care, folks.

                                Starring:

                                John Boruk

                                Boruk:
Welcome Phillies fans to another edition of SportsNite. What a great game we saw last night in Cincinnati, how about Pedro Feliz.

The man was a late free agent signing and already has 3 homeruns in the first week of the season.

Well Philadelphia continues their road trip as they take a visit to Flushing, NY.

                                Boruk:
Ahh the rivalry continues. The Mets have yet to record a victory this season with a record of 0-6.

The main reason for this would easily be the fact that the team ERA is at 7.11.

The will take on a Phillies team who has also struggled from time to time with pitching but have had 2 great outings the past 2 games out.

Well here is the pitching match-ups for this 3 game series in New York.

                                Pitching Match-Up:

                                Philadelphia
                                Jamie Moyer (1-0, 3.85)

                                April 9:
                                Philadelphia
                                Kyle Kendrick (0-1, 12.60)

                                vs.
                                New York
                                John Maine (0-1, 11.57)

                                April 10:
                                Philadelphia
                                Adam Eaton (0-1, 2.70)

                                vs.
                                New York
                                Oliver Perez (0-1, 7.19)

                                Boruk:
And here is a key player from each team to watch out for.

                                Key Player
                                Philadelphia

                                Chase Utley

                                Boruk:
Utley's bat has really caught fire after the trip to Cincinnati. He is batting .387 and leds the team in RBIs with 9. If New York wants to get their pitching on track it is very important to not mess around with Utley.

                                New York

                                David Wright

                                Boruk:
Everyone in the NL East knows about Wright. He is only 25 years old but already an All-Star. He has already clubbed one homerun this series and for Philadelphia to win it is very important to keep Wright in the yard.

Well it looks like everything is ready to go out there. Make sure to tune in tonight after the game for the Phillies Post Game Live. Now to Harry Kalas and Chris Wheeler who have the call for tonight's game. Guys...
