Now with Leafs veteran Bryan McCabe been shipped off the Florida and Captain Mats Sundin still having not made a decision whether who to sign with or to retire. This man will have to have a phenomonel season if he wants any chance at a playoff glimpse.

McCabe like former rival team defencemen Wade Redden, has decided it's time to go somewhere else. Unlike Redden, who decided on his own to sign with the New York Rangers, he was traded by the Leafs to the Florida Panthers in exchange for Mike Van Ryn. Will he have a flash of greatness with defencemen Jay Bouwmeester?

I would say Kubina will most likely more points then 34 and possibly more then 9 goals. since without Mcabe on the team he will be getting more power play time with his booming shot. I think he will get like 40-45 points this season.

With the lost of Brian Campbell, who signed with the Chicago Blackhakws, the Sharks are going to need defencive depth to go back into the playoffs and go further than the 2nd Round. Even when the defence fails, there will always be Evgeni Nabokov to bail them out.
