NASHVILLE - Upset with being sent down to the AHL's Iowa Stars by Dallas and threatening to return to his home country of Sweden, Fabian Brunnstrom was acquired by the Nashville Predators for winger Jed Ortmeyer and future considerations.

Brunnstrom has played in 6 NHL games this season and has 1 assist.

Ortmeyer has yet to play this season due to blood clots but has been cleared by his Doctor to resume skating with the Stars.

Brunnstrom is expected to make his Predators debut against the Edmonton Oilers but word has not been given on which line he will skate.
