Karn Gets Off To Rough Start, but had "Ace" up his sleeve

Drew Karn got off to a rough start to his professional career shooting an opening round six over 79.

Karn started on the outward nine boogeying three of his first nine hole to go out in a two over 38. The back nine was somewhat more kind to him. As he picked up a hole in one on the par three 11th hole. However he triple boggeyed the 13th on his way to an inward score of 4 over 41.

Karn currently sits in a four way tie for dead last at 116th, Chris Perry sits alone atop the leaderboard after firing an opening round four under 69. However there are three other golfers sitting just one shot behind him including Robert Allenby and Peter Lonard

KARN IN A LOG JAM, ONE SHOT BACK OF SINGH

Drew Karn fired an even par 71 on Friday to remain at five under par for the tournament through two rounds of the TPC of Scottsdale Open.

Vijay Singh took over the lead after firing a four under par 67, giving the former Masters champ a one shot lead through two rounds at six under par(136)

But Saturday is moving day on the PGA tour and with a host of players within three shots of the lead, anything can happen on the weekend.
